The Veterinary Care Charitable Fund is a program created by the American Veterinary Medical Foundation (AVMF) to provide veterinarians with a simple and effective way to offer charitable veterinary services to clients facing personal hardships as well as a means to support animals who are injured or rescued from abuse and neglect.

5 stars isn't enough for this amazing practice! We had a bit of an emergency with our pup and even though we haven't been there before they took her in immediately. Within a couple of hours they diagnosed and began treating her problems. They were so informative and caring. I will continue to use them for all our fur babies and I will always be grateful for each and everyone of them that took such great care of our sweet crazy pup.

Mermaid Vet is one of the greatest in Vero. They help with the Humane Society with dental cleanings, they’re super nice and quite affordable! Tiffany the nurse explained all of the prices, made sure I was into what I was asking for. Highly recommended, always. Very nice and clean establishment, always ready to answer your questions. Very compassionate and considerate of both pets and pet parents. Dr. Braum and her team today made PJ & I very happy.

I took my 14+ year old dog to Mermaid Vet Hospital this morning. I was pleasantly surprised with the very good service from both vet & her staff. Sailor (one of the vet technicians) was an absolute God's send. She took care of my Cassy like a princess. Thank You Sailor, your mom & dad should be very proud of your compassionate & loving nature! I truly appreciated the non judgemental professional medical help for my beauty from the whole staff! Could not say anything else but God Bless & much success Mermaid Vet Hospital!

While in vero beach our 15 year old shitzu Groucho who had been diagnosed with an enlarged heart and was not doing well and barley eating took a turn for the worse
And started having seizures, I called other vet clinics in the area but no one would work us in, However Mermaid vet immediately worked us in last minute in between other appointments
For one of the toughest decision it was time to let Groucho go and they were amazing and compassionate
We truly appreciate your service and understanding during such a difficult moment in our lives
