We have over 20 years of experience in all phases of landscape design, sprinkler installation, sprinkler repairs, and fertilizer programs. Good for new or old customers, referred customer must sign up for the 6 or 7 step application program.

R&S Lawn Service was started in 2001 after Rick Smith and Scott Hulen combined their individual lawn services. Rick and Scott have been residents of the Northland for their entire lives. They lived down the street from each other growing up and went to Winnetonka High School together, becoming life long friends.
Our one-of-a-kind fertilizer program keeps your lawn looking its best. Our seven-step program, customized to meet your lawn's needs, includes applications once a month during the growing season. This application is used to prevent crabgrass and enhance the color and density of your turf. The purpose of this application is to control fleas, ticks, chiggers and other insect pests.
R & S takes a unique approach to designing an outdoor living space. We combine your expectations and dreams to create your overall vision. We then make recommendations to enhance visual and maintenance details. This creates an outdoor space that complements your home's architectural design & provides an extension of your outdoor lifestyle.
Our specialty is to return damaged lawns to beautiful, lush green turf. We use environmentally safe methods such as aeration/verticutting, seeding and fertilization. We improve turf health by increasing the soil's access to air, water and fertilizer. We reduces thatch by introducing micro-organisms to the lawn surface.

I recommend R&S Lawn & Sprinklers to others, because they have given us good service, at a very competitive price. They installed our Automatic Sprinkler system, and now we are using them for winterization of the same, fertilizing, and next year will be our go-to to keep our lawn looking great!

We have had R&S since they installed our sprinkler system in 2004. We have been very pleased with their service and reliability. We especially like using a local family owned company rather than a national chain. We like to support small business owners. We recently had them do a lawn restoration. They showed up on time, did a thorough job and were extremely polite. What more could you ask.
