Amazing how quickly the tranquility, peace and serenity of nature can so quickly vanish. Upon the arrival (weekend of 11/19/21) of a group of weekend warriors that idyllic "Hideaway" was battered and beaten to a pulp. You knew it wasn't going to be good when you could hear the driver yelling like he was ten blocks away. I'm not sure why people can be so inconsiderate of others who are all RVers trying to enjoy the relaxation of RVing. There is no sane, logical reason but narcissism or some mental disorder. From their constant yelling to each other, to unsupervised children running around the campground

This was our first RV stay with our small camper and it worked out great. Their website is really nice and user friendly. It was super easy to book online and they called right after to confirm and share details before we arrived. Since it was December I only booked a few weeks before but I'm sure during peak season you'll have to book earlier.
There are 100+ sites that have a concrete pad with a picnic table and fire pit. Check-in was simple but know there are two entrances and one is locked until you get a code. Devon at the front desk was very friendly. She shared some area activities

Concert pads and concert fr table and chairs. We were in site 42. The staff was wonderful and the maintenance guys were very polite and always asked us if we needed anything. The only think I would ask the people staying there if they would pick up after their dogs ( always the bigs one). We would stay again here. Get the sites on the two rows closets to the water ( pull through).

We are full time RVers and spent ten days at Hideaway RV. The staff was excellent. The sites were well maintained and not too close. Lots of fun activities going on during weekend. The pool was super clean. I didn’t use the bathhouse but the laundry house was clean. The dog park was the best. It had artificial turf with a dog pool and working garden hose. The property is tucked away behind a high school, along the inter coastal waterway. Wifi worked fine and the cable TV service had lots of channels. The location is very convenient and gated at night. We will stay again if we return to the area

This was our second visit and I am sure we will return. It is a nice quiet area but offers amenities such as a pool, dog park, laundromat and kayak rental. They have an ice cream truck that comes out on Friday and Saturday afternoon and has some type of entertainment on Saturday such as a DJ, Karaoke or a live band. All sites have a large concrete pad, fire ring and picnic table. There are swings and chaise lounge near the waterway for your use. The only reason I did not give five stars is that once the resort filled up for the Labor day weekend we could not get internet, they need stronger signal

This place is aptly named. If you didn't have good directions, you'd never see it from the main road; and this is a great thing! The resort sits behind a high school and is a gated community of campsites. Very easy access and parking the rig was fairly easy. The resort is built next to the inland waterway and makes for a beautiful, relaxing atmosphere. There's every amenity you need for camping: laundry, store, ice, and a nice bathhouse. It's super quiet at night and secure behind the gate. The resort provides entertainment with games and concerts and icecream is served at the icecream stand. Friendly

We absolutely loved this place! It was our favorite of all the places we have been. The sites were pristine. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was phenomenal. We were there during Labor Day, and the band that played on Saturday night was awesome. It was quite, and all the campers were very respectful of the rules. We will definitely be going again. I highly recommend Hideaway. Five stars!

Absolutely love this park! Pride in ownership shows in every corner of this smaller park as repairs and general maintenance are done daily to keep this place looking great.
The resort is small, quiet and very well maintained. Each rv spot has a concrete pad, picnic table and fire ring. The two bunks of bathhouses are kept spotless as well.
Located way off the beach but on the inter coastal so still able to enjoy the water if you'd like as they have a boat ramp, very small beach area, fishing docks and they rent kayaks, canoes and paddle boats as well. There is also a place next door that rents

Awesome campground. Sites layed out nice, easy to maneuver in and out. Wifi was good, so the kids were happy. The roads got really muddy with all the rain, and lots of pot holes. The front desk staff were great. They had activities for the kids on one if the days. Nice little camp store with all the basic stuff, as well as bait.
Great place to relax and watch the boats pass by. Luckily no mosquitoes, but we did have a ton of house flies. Luckily we brought some fans to help blow them away. We will return!!

A little tricky to find- it looks like you're pulling into a high school at first.
Overall, we had a fantastic experience. We stayed for 5 nights and 4 days. No complaints.
Spots are concrete slabs, level, and pretty spacey. Full hookups. There are fun little amenities that make the stay nicer. We didn't utilize the showers or laundry, but they looked clean. A small private beach on the intracoastal with kayak rentals. The pool was clean. Fun activities for the Fourth of July weekend.
10/10 would recommend. We will stay here again in the future.
