Crooked Tree Cabins is located on the shores of Paradise Lake, just a few minutes south of Mackinaw City, Michigan. Each housekeeping cabin is equipped with a gas range, microwave oven, refrigerator-freezer, coffee maker, toaster, basic pots, pans and cooking utensils. Sheets are available at no charge for those who prefer not to bring their own sheets.
We ask our guests to bring their own pillows and blankets. Each cabin also has a living-dining area, a bathroom with shower, its own hot water tank, cable tv, and its own outdoor sitting area with picnic table, grill, and fire pit. Firewood is available to purchase. Paradise Lake is an all-sports lake and is known as an excellent spot for fishing bass, northern pike, walleye, and perch.

Follow Paradise Trail for 1.5 miles to CROOKED TREE CABINS AT 8018 PARADISE TRAIL (on the right). Follow M-131 North, or M-31 North, into Petoskey to M-131 / M-31 intersection near the McLaren Northern Michigan Hospital. Follow M-31 North through Conway, Alanson, Pellston, and Levering, to the flashing yellow light at Carp Lake Village.

Our rustic cabins was perfect for a fun and peaceful getaway. The lake is beautiful. Our time there was just what we needed. We highly recommend Crooked Tree Cabins!

What a relaxing two weeks in paradise! The cabins are nestled in the woods with great shade and fantastic access to the lake.
The swim area is perfect for little ones and adults alike with ideal shallow end that extends all the way to the end of the dock.
The cabins are great if rent together or separate as each place has everything required for a relaxing lake stay. Each place has a dedicated fire pit and chairs to enjoy the beautiful, quiet northern Michigan nights.

My fiancee and I stayed here from June 1st - June 6th. We were originally scheduled to stay thru June 8th but due to unforeseen circumstances we had to leave a couple days early. The owners Renee and Rick were kind enough to give us back some of the money we prepaid due to having to leave early. We stayed in Cricket cabin which was a great cabin for just us 2. It had the biggest bed of all cabin . Being right off paradise lake was nice. They left us a book of coupons and a map of the area which was super helpful for finding places. The cabin was super clean and the owners were so helpful and nice

We just completed our stay at Crooked Tree Cabins after a quick Memorial Day weekend. What a special little secret in northern Michigan! We stayed in the Hemingway cabin and absolutely loved our experience! The cabins have a wonderful, early/mid 20th century rustic appeal and each one is a little different. All the cooking utensils we needed were there, including pots and pans, and the galley sized kitchen was perfect for two people and a dog. The cabin felt private and was truly a special place we can’t wait to return to! Any negative reviews I’m reading are most likely picky people with unrealistic

These cabins are awesome. The location is great, 7 min to get to mackinaw city, 10 minutes to get to wilderness state park hiking trails. Super cozy, super clean. The owner is so sweet and helpful. Free rowboats and paddle boats to use on the lake, which itself is gorgeous. We can’t wait to come back! We stayed in the Hemingway Cabin - it was soooo cute!
