Fair Winds Reiki & Mindfulness is now accepting bookings at my new office at 100 South Gay Street in Susanville, California! (I'm on the south side of this beautiful Victorian building on the corner of S Gay and Cottage Streets.) For your convenience, I will continue to offer distance and online options in addition to in-person Reiki sessions, Reiki training, and creative workshops.
Reiki is a traditional Japanese form of energy healing that brings about deep relaxation and enhances the body's natural healing processes. It can alleviate stress, pain and grief while promoting restful sleep and overall well-being. I seek to help clients support their own wellness through Reiki sessions as well as training in all levels of Traditional Usui Reiki (Level I, Level II, and Reiki Master Teacher).

Services
Fair Winds Reiki & Mindfulness began as my dream to share the tools that I have used to transform my life. It has evolved into a place where I can utilize all of my strengths and talents in service to others, moving toward a more meaningful life for us all. As a child, I ran free on our land overlooking the Susan River in California.
Enjoy 60 full minutes of relaxation and restorative Reiki energy to support your body's natural healing processes. Please allow additional time for a brief discussion before and/or after the session. Reiki can be shared from a distance! This means that the client can book a session, and then relax in their own home to receive Reiki at the scheduled time.
Fair Winds features mindfulness and spiritually inspired artwork and handmade goods for sale. I've been working on a series of alcohol ink paintings called Angel Whispers. I currently sell the original paintings and am working on digital alternatives to print at home or use in social media. My mom knits and crochets, so you will find items like pot holders, trivets, and shawls in our shop.

Handled pandemic super poorly. Started charging more and offering less services. As a homeless student I heavily relied on these services. After finding out I was homeless, they offered free stay at the dorms. This quickly turned into taking out a loan to pay them. Not comfortable taking out the loan because I had COVID and was falling behind in my classes. Knowing this they offered me the most useless degree possible because my military benefits were running out. They went on to suggest that I use the wifi available at school to complete classes instead of helping me find housing. Should have

The school itself is very modern and as such looks very beautiful. My personal favorite area is manzanita lake. Most of the professors are very helpful and eager to help you learn. Also, there are plenty of different places to eat on campus, with a pretty good variety. Overall, I have enjoyed my experience as a student.
