Spiceland is truly one of a kind. Whether your preference is vegetarian, gluten-free, organic, or plant-based, everything is absolutely tasteful.
I want to start off by talking about the incredible management and customer service at this mom n' pop shop. They are responsive with any and every request whether it's about something in stock, or when they'll get their next shipment of fresh vegetables.

Their collection is extensive and vast, with freshness guaranteed for spices, vegetables, different lentils, as well as snacks/sweets.
Spiceland is kept very clean and organized, which

I brought my Mom here to shop since it was the closest Indian grocery store to her. Nice clean grocery store with a decent selection. What is very frustrating though is that roughly half their selection doesn't have visible pricing information on the shelf or on product stickers making comparison shopping between brands impossible. Further, I found a lot of non grocery items that did have prices on them (e.g. toothpaste, soap) to be extremely expensive. As I'm not from this area, maybe these prices are par for Central Florida. However, much to my surprise, I could order some of this

They have renovated the store and it's clean, prices are higher than other Indian stores, and vegetables are not always fresh they seem old and rotten 50% of the time. Wish they would carry more fresh produce.

I specifically shop here for one reason, to buy spring roll wrappers to make Lumpia. This is the closest grocery store from where I live that sells them, otherwise I would have to driver further.

I've been visiting for many years but it wasn't until recently that I've returned. The store acquired more space and the layout is much better and organized. I usually experience good customer service and for the first time today, I tried a Samosa sold at the counter! Sooo good! I was told they make them fresh on Fridays. Well, I arrived on a Saturday and it was still delicious

This Indian store is way more expensive than the other Indian stores in Central Florida area. They charge anywhere from $1-$2 more for an Item than any other Indian store in the area. The best bet is to get frozen foods from Deep or Haldiram that have the price pre printed on the item. There was one frozen item from Deep that did not come with the pre printed price, but the Spiceland people had the price of $3.99 written on the price tag in the freezer section. However, when the cashier scanned the Deep frozen item, it rang for $4.49. When I told the cashier that, she told me they had not

My family goes shopping for Indian groceries at another shop, closer to our home. But being as we were in the area running an errand, mum suggested we take advantage of the proximity and come and check this store out.

So first impressions - it was pretty impressive how massive this store is (it felt like it walked big and spacious) and I thought it was also really well laid out with the fresh produce having its own section. I was amused and also somewhat mesmerized by the Indian movie songs that were playing on the small, wall-mounted TVs. A flash of movement would catch the corner of me eye,

Specialty cultural groceries stores are one of my hobbies. It's like taking a mini vacation. Spiceland is on the smaller side but does have a pretty good selection of different items. The prices seem to be pretty fair. I was going to purchase produce, but the produce looked hit or miss. We got one of the Samosas that are hot at the check out counter. Pretty good for .99. We bought random snacks and curry powder which I'm looking forward to use in my next curry dish.

I found the price of each item is very high. Many items they do not have price tags so when you buy you do not know and they get higher price then the market rate. Not worth to buy.Apna Bazar run by PAKI/Bangladeshi are very friendly and most economical. They have plenty of varities and not like SPiceland which is very small shops.

Use during only emergencies but not regular. That is my experience. Be careful about prices.

Worst customer service. Asked the owner to order me a gallon of a particular ice cream, of which they were out of at the time. I was told that she would order it for me and that the ice cream would be there in a week. It's been six weeks and no ice cream. Called the manager and she said, and I quote, " I will reorder it for you and it will be here in a week" LOL. I have not been there since.
Instead check out "House of Spice" on Rt 434 in Longwood.

This place is expensive. I bought some green chilies yesterday and did not check the receipt at that time, later found out it was $11.99 per lb. This is way too expensive. Staff was not friendly either. There are not varieties for green veggies and the ones they have are not fresh. Did not like the place.

I have to be honest, I have not shopped here personally though my mother loves it. I came to have the fresh samosas which are available on Fridays. For only 99 cents each they make an affordable, delicious lunch! Nice touch of heat with a delectable flaky crust! Can't wait to go back!

The upside: Lots of really good Indian food items for reasonable prices.

The downside: The shelves aren't always neatly organized, and there are lots of items without prices (e.g. you have to look at other boxes of a particular item to find a price tag). However, the woman who runs the place is friendly and will help you out if you can't find something.

Recommended if you're looking for an Indian grocery in the Orlando area.

This is by far, the best Indian grocery in the Orlando Metro area and well worth the trip to visit.

Spiceland primarily sells Indian items, though you can find some staples of other cuisines as well (Bird's Custard, Cadbury chocolates, rice wrappers, and Sriracha sauce come to mind!) They have an excellent blend of fresh produce, frozen items, and shelf-stable mixes for dosais, chaat, and many desserts. They also have a small section of health and beauty products. And if you eat a great deal of basmati rice, their prices cannot be beat for a 10lb bag. I should know, I'm a Costco
