Union Colony Civic Center
The Union Colony Civic Center is Northern Colorado's premier performing arts venue and is proudly owned and operated by the City of Greeley. Built in 1988 with a combination of public funds and private donations, the UCCC is home to two performance venues, Monfort Concert Hall, which seats 1,686 and Hensel Phelps Theatre, which seats 214.

With over 100 events held per year, the UCCC offers a wide variety of Broadway musicals, concerts, comedy shows, and many local dance and school performances. The UCCC proudly hosts events held by the Greeley Philharmonic Orchestra, the Stampede Troupe, The Dance Factory, District 6 Schools, and several other local and regional productions.
Services
The UCCC ticket office staff strives to help you select seats that meet your ticketing preferences. We proudly sell tickets to events throughout Greeley for events at the Civic Center and for many of our community partners. No matter if you like to purchase tickets in person, over the phone, or just need a little help ordering from our website feel free to contact one of our friendly and knowledgeable ticket clerks today.
We have seating for those in mobility devices in each price range, each with an associated companion seat. For some shows these fill up quickly so it's best to order early. Each theater has seats that don't require using stairs; please contact the ticket office to verify which seats meet this qualification.
Donations are a fundamental way to sustain the arts in our community. The Union Colony Civic Center is honored whenever anyone decides to donate any amount to show their support. We've tried to make it as simple to donate any amount you'd like to give. Small amounts can be given either through the website, phone, or at a ticket window.
The Union Colony Civic Center Backstage Stars are a separate non-profit organization whose mission is to support the success of the UCCC, through fundraising, assisting staff and programs, and public education. The Backstage Stars welcomes members interested in participation at whatever level fits their particular situation, purely as a contributor all the way to an active board member.
The Union Colony Civic Center could not offer the variety of high quality entertainment at the affordable ticket prices that you've come to expect over the years without the support of our partners. Partners provide donations of both money and services that are directly utilized to support programming at the UCCC.

I rented this venue for a show. The staff here is the epitome of professionalism and they are experts at their craft. I can't wait to work with them again!

The union colony is an excellent facility for a regional town theater. Shows like Shen Yun have toured to excellent acclaim. The place is clean with shopping that often accompany a show. Acoustics are good in the main theater and even better in the smaller second floor theater used for events like concerts and recitals.
Seating is often reasonably priced.
The shows are a hybrid staff of volunteers and paid staff. This can result in an inconsistent experience as some of the volunteers are perhaps a bit aggressive in role.
Seating is small and tight which may be uncomfortable for older or larger

Beautiful venue. Just saw Shen Yung.
However... On a safety note.
I'm surprised there aren't more stairs or better ways to get a full house to exit quickly. I cannot imagine getting a full house out in a panic the way it's set up.

Very clean and excellent views of performances. Friendly helpful staff. Only 4 stars because the bathroom lines for women were super long due to only 8 stalls.

We had ticket to Shen Yun for a year ago and they automatically rescheduled our performance to March of 2021. Now I get another rescheduled date for August 2021. I think it's pretty presumptuous of UCCC and Shen Yun that it's fine. We're not even offered our money back. It's take the credit and use it at these venues or too bad. I'll never spend money on a future venue for this place.

Unrealized potential.

Fantastic performers playing their heart out but having to deal with terrible acoustics and sound system - pops and buzz and bad mix. Felt bad for them.

This could be such a great venue but between terrible acoustics, bad sound, inadequate restrooms, long lines for drinks, and rude security it just doesn't deliver for the quality of talent performing here and cost of a ticket.

I've attended school concerts for my son here as well as some public events like the Festival of Trees. I have not been to a professional music concert here, so cannot speak to that. I find the center to be large, clean and a nice addition to the area. There is ample free parking in the lot next to the center. When I have visited everything including the bathrooms have been clean and in good order.

We visited to watch Miss Colorado USA and as a former competitor and now a spectator I can say this venue is gorgeous all around! The dressing rooms are large, stage is really nice and the staff is wonderful. The theatre itself is big and bright, plenty of leg room and makes for a great place to watch a show- good parking options too!

Been around for a while and still in pretty good shape. Have been here as a performer and as an audience member and it's usually a great experience every time. The seats in the auditorium are a little tight and close together, it is definitely nice to sit next to people you know.

Ashley B.'s review is excellent. Beyond what she has written, I must add a lament. The first performance I attended here was a performance that included Beethoven's "Figaro", conducted by Dr. Howard Skinner. That hooked me completely. I bought season tickets, up close, attended regularly. Dr. Skinner conducted the orchestra in performing the genuine classics, focused naturally on Bach, Beethoven, Mozart, and the most beautiful Wagner I had ever heard in my life. I don't recall that he performed anything he himself had composed; and I don't recall any dependence
