As a native of Spain, Chef Dana started cooking Paella as she was growing up, but she really didn't see the art or passion in cooking it for others until she came to FL in the early 2000's. She's been cooking Paella for 6-7 years as a personal chef in South Florida ever since. The business started when Dana and her late husband moved to Florida from Ibiza, Spain.
They brought a pan and a burner and began cooking for neighbors and friends for fun. Word spread and sooner than later it turned into a business of its own! Her husband passed before he ever saw it grow and today, 16 years later, she runs the family business as a legacy he left behind. Please note that all parties hosted further than a 30 mi. radius from Pompano Beach will be charged an additional mileage fee. You host the party - we'll cook for your guests! Birthday and anniversary parties are some of our favorite catering events to do; we've catered for birthdays celebrating ages 1 to 90 and have cooked for big anniversary celebrations all over Southern Florida.
The evening was filled with tapas, paellas, desserts, sangria, wine, live Spanish guitar and a flamenco dancer! We love participating in local events around South Florida. You can find La Paella Chef at any of these upcoming community events - come visit us and try our paella for yourself!

Good morning Dana! Wow! Cannot thank you enough! The paella were so delicious! The appetizer platters and gazpacho beautiful and so tasty. And what can I say about Katy and Eliana! Chef Dana was so awesome! She was so personable and passionate about her work. We loved watching her make our Paella poolside for our very large family. We all had questions and she was so kind in answering all of them. The seafood was so fresh and all-around flavor amazing. The portions are very generous. I would absolutely use her again!

We used Chef Dana for my husbands 40th Birthday Party!! She was so easy to work with from beginning to end!! I knew I wanted something unique for the party ... something we all don’t eat on a regular basis....The paella was BEYOND my expectations!! Fresh organic salad, baguettes and a delicious almond flour cake!!! It was so fun to watch them cook as the party was getting started! Everyone raved about it all night and they even got to take some home!! I had guests inquire about having her at their upcoming parties!! Thank you Chef Dana for making the party a great success

Chef Dana prepared the most delicious and authentic paella that I personally had. It was during lunch right before Christmas for all our employees and everyone loved it. All the details from the plates the bread the decoration it was done very nice and very professional. Highly recommend chef Dana and her authentic paella's.

We have only good things to say about our experience with La Paella Chef. We recently hosted a party that they catered. They arrived and seamlessly set everything up, served the food on time and delicious, and then wrapped up all leftovers and cleaned up. The chef and staff were professional and everyone enjoyed the delicious paella, especially the lobster! I must add, leading up to the party Chef Dana was very responsive and made me feel confident that a great night was to be had, and it was. Thank you La Paella Chef for a wonderful party.

What a wonderful experience to have La Paella Chef cater our event! She comes and sets up EVERYTHING and you have nothing to worry about other than entertaining your guest with some conversation. It helped me enjoyed myself more than at any other event we hosted in our home. Regarding the taste- everyone loved it! can't wait to hire La Paella Chef again!

Amazing experience! The chef, Dana, was very professional and had a beautiful table set up and the whole experience was amazing because it was fun to watch her cook and it was very nice to be able to relax and enjoy my guests and furthermore the food was full of flavor, high-quality shrimp (not small little shrimp but huge jumbo shrimp). Just from beginning to end it was creative, interesting, entertaining for my guests, relaxing for the host and delicious for everyone!
