Cervelle Homes was founded in 1990 and has since built over 2000 homes in the southeast Houston area. Our guiding principals have been to give small company attention to our customers while building enough homes in each location to realize economies of scale and production line efficiencies. We now build from 150 to 200 homes each year, and intend to remain at that size in the future.
Our product has evolved to our present program of larger lots, all detached garages, with an emphasis on larger one-story homes. We are able to offer many changes to individualize the homes, and have developed an array of garage designs, including overhead storage and porte cocheres. We have a wide range of selections for such standard items as flooring, cabinets, counter tops, and brick.

So we purchased our brand new home in Lakeland Section 5. Moved in in April. Our AC has not worked correctly from day 1. Have had the AC company out 7 times as of today. The "energy efficiency" of these homes is a joke. The Builder will not allow you to communicate any issues with out being rude and very obnoxious. At this point I am ready to sell and say good luck. The promises made when we purchased the house are definitely not what we are getting.

Critical: Quality, Value
We were excited about building our home, until I started inspecting the construction. The quality was subpar, along the materials. I have never seen this low level of craftsmanship for a home in the 300K range. Luckily I was able to get my deposit back. If you decide to allow them to build a home, go to the site everyday, hire your own inspector and make sure they don't hide the poor quality with sheetrock.

Yes, i live in a cervelle home in palmcrest. We moved in jan 2016, in sept 2017 hurricane harvey hit. We evacuated, but when we came back our roof in living room leaked. We were informed that the roof warranty was for 1 year only. My husband called a roofer, who concluded it was leaking @ heater pipe, and it needed a cap. $300.00. Still the roof leaked, we had someone else check, it's definitely @ the heater pipe. He pulled up a 5 x 6 ft piece of shingles that weren't nailed or even had plastic taken off. So he siliconed it down. $200.00. Still it leaked, i called yet another

I want to personally say how terrible the builder president is and you should search other home builders before considering this buying one of these. After Hurricane Harvey, I discovered a roof leak which ruined our upstairs bathroom. While having it fixed, we discover literal holes that you could see through to the outside the hardy board because there was no plywood covering the 2 x 4s, just the tar paper. The leaks came through the walls, not the roof. There were multiple flaws in my existing home, including no wood sheathing under the Hardy board external planking, and no insulation between
