Founded by Chris Fisher in 1992, Fisher Recycling began as a humble one-person operation, collecting recyclable goods from several Charleston restaurants and offices at the request of the business owners. Driving an old, decrepit pick-up truck, the "ecopreneur" in the making was performing a job that restaurant owners and office managers didn't have time to accomplish - collecting and disposing their recyclable waste.
Whether your business is in Berkeley, Dorchester or Charleston County, we can create a program to fit your recycling needs. You can depend on us to give you the service you expect to maintain a clean, effective waste stream. We recycle glass, office paper and cardboard for restaurants, hotels, offices, condominiums and apartment complexes.
Our corporate sponsorship program allows companies to sponsor a residential drop site or pop-up event for glass recycling. It's a great way to publicly show your commitment to social responsibility. We're actively seeking companies to sponsor drop sites throughout the tri-county area so that residents will know that their glass is actually being recycled.
