Manitou Lodge, perfectly situated Forks Washington accommodations, provides guest rooms, cabins, and camping on ten acres of coastal rainforest, just 3 miles from Rialto Beach, and 15 minutes west of Forks. Manitou is what a lodge should be - wood, stone, a Great Room with a massive stone fireplace, vaulted ceilings, and furniture you can put your feet up on.
Nights in our forest are silent except for the distant rush of the Sol Duc River and occasional interruptions by coyotes and owls. Stay in a choice of Washington coast lodging including lodge guest rooms, cottage rooms, rustic cabins, and camping. Please note we are unable to provide Breakfast service at this time.

Services
Originally built in 1970, our Forks WA Lodging is a built around a classic lodge structure whose most striking feature is a huge vaulted-ceiling Great Room with a massive stone fireplace. The numerous couches and chairs in this room provide the space to be with others, and, at the same time, to be private.
Our Forks Motel alternative provides many unique lodging options. Choose from one of our Main Lodge Rooms or Cottage Rooms. If the outdoors is what you desire, we also offer rustic Cabin & Tent accommodations for your deep woods experience. Cabin & Tent guests have access to the spacious outdoor showers and portable toilets.
We welcome you to our Forks Washington Olympic National Park Lodging. Staying in the Main Lodge room allows plenty of space for extra guests, the convenience of being close to the main lodge amenities, and your very own private porch in many of the rooms. All Lodge rooms also enjoy the convenience of a mini-fridge, microwave, toaster, and keurig coffee maker in each room.
If you're looking for the best places to stay in Forks Wa, look no further. These comfortable quiet rooms are in the detached cottage from the main lodge (not to be confused with the Outback summer-only cabins described on the Cabins & Tents page). Stay in either the Owl or Eagle rooms where you can be assured of a peaceful night's rest, waking up to the birds chirping and fresh forest air.
We offer rustic cabins as well as tent campsites to get you even closer to the spectacular scenery and greenery at our Forks campground. We provide almost everything you need to make your experience comfortable and enjoyable without complications. Guests staying in our rustic cabins enjoy the convenience of a sink, mini fridge, microwave, toaster, and coffeemaker in their cabin.

Seeing all of these atrocious negative reviews (and possibly/probably false accusations in many of them) I would like to reassure anyone looking to book here. My sister and I have been driving down here from Canada for the last 5 years (sometimes twice in one year) to stay here for the pure enjoyment of the property. We absolutely adore Manitou Lodge- there is not one negative thing to say about our stays we have had in both the Owl and Eagle cabins as well as the Top floor loft rooms in the lodge. All of the rooms are always immaculate and spotless when we arrive (if there is the odd bug, you

I don't know who bought Manitou Lodge, but I'm extremely disappointed in their Customer service skills. I had 2 days book here for our wedding anniversary, me and my husband planned a week's long trip a round the Olympic peninsula.
Unfortunately I broke my leg/ankle the three week before our trip and need to have surgery. The three other hotels/ Bed and breakfast I booked Refund our money or let us rebook at a later date.
I call 21 days before our booked dates.. chat messenger, email, text message. No one answer at all for over a week. I finally got a text message response.

We were supposed to stay in A frame #17. It was locked when we got there. We went to the lodge and knocked on the door. It was around 5:30. A guest s answered and said the manager wasn't home. There was no envelope with our name on it and no phone number for us to get ahold of him So we went back and checked Aframe#16. It was unlocked so we stayed there thinking the manager just made a mistake. The Aframe is very leaky and very thin mattresses. The bathroom was dirty and lots of bugs. I could hardly wait to leave the next morning. Will never come back. .

My review is specific to the Manitou Lodge campground, which is relatively new as of this review (9/3/21), and has little info. The campgrounds are actually quite nice! The photos on the lodge website are relatively close to reality. Don't expect much ground cover, so expect wet soil after rain. The lower number campsites are very close to the entrance, and close to the main lodge building - maybe 100 yards. The provided campground restroom is a single portapotty. The only one I saw was located near campsites 1-3. Also near those sites is the single shower. Despite what the lodge website claims

We were looking for last minute lodging when we stumbled upon Manitou. With decent reviews and one room left, we called to make a reservation after receiving website errors. The gentleman we talked to was less than helpful, but we drove out anyways to check it out. It is located well off the beaten path. The camping sites were very overgrown and it was very tight for our half ton pickup just to drive around the loop. Rooms and lodge looked dated, especially for the room price of $170+! Decided to go somewhere else since we didn’t have a good feeling!

Way out in the Northwest area of the Olympic Peninsula is the primitive campground at the Manitou Lodge property. Many tent sites only able to accommodate 1 small tent (2 person size). Sites really are primitive, with lots of tree roots and uneven ground. At night there is absolute quiet. Enjoy it! Rain shower was amazing. It had a gigantic square shower head fixed to the ceiling so it felt as if rain was pouring down on you. Plenty of hot water, too. Picnic tables at sites are new and very nice. Campground has a few port-a-potties with TP and hand sanitizer. There are a couple of freestanding

Absolutely perfect! The camping spot we stayed in was extremely private, much better than all the other ones we've stayed at! We have stayed at grounds from the South east to the North west and this is our favorite so far! Gorgeous trees, very natural, spacious site, and totally peaceful! Great service and sweet family that owns it!

The Manitou Lodge B & B is lovely! In the forest about 15 minutes from downtown Forks. Our room was so comfy and and the deck was great! I loved sitting in our private area with my morning tea. We had a toaster, refrigerator, coffee machine, plates, glasses etc. It made it so easy!
Due to covid we could not use the 'great room' but could enjoy looking at it from above. We will for sure come back!

The Bed and Breakfast that isn't. During this time of COVID 19 there are many difficulties to running a business like this. It shouldn't be the excuse to not deliver basic services. I first tried to stay here back in March,2020 when the day before I was to arrive my reservation was cancelled due to COVID. On the website there are many warnings, especially their cancellation policy and you must give them 14 days notice, but they allowed themselves one day notice! I was at Hurricane Ridge when I received an email, not even a phone call! Trying to arrange accommodations was no small feat

My friend and I just finished our stay here and we were not expecting it to be so clean and cute.. the photos here on yelp don't really give it justice. Everything was clean and the restroom had a vintage feel. We had an outdoor deck that was surrounded by trees. There was a mini fridge, microwave, utensils, plates, bowls and she even left a little basket with snacks. Unfortunately we are vegan so we couldn't eat them. There was also a Keurig in the room with coffee. Downstairs they had a table with ice, jam, hot coco, any other needs. Last but not least there are three puppies on site

Charming property and lodges. We decided to do a one-nighter on our way through and opted for the VW tent. We appreciated the cozy bed and table set up in the tent along with the fire wood. But the only thing we were looking forward to was the advertised s'more's kit when we arrived. After the owner greeted us at the camp sight, we jokingly asked where our s'more's kit was. He did not really have an explanation why we didn't get one. I promptly pointed out it was in the description advertised for the tent. We saw him shortly after walking to the campers that arrived down

I love every single thing about this place! My daughter and I stayed in the Outback Too cabin. It was quaint and quiet and easily the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in away from home. For dinner we built a fire and roasted hot dogs and marshmallows, and the owners stocked our fridge for breakfast, even accommodating my daughter's vegan diet. The property is beautiful and quiet. Absolutely loved it and can't wait to stay again.

Wow. What a fabulous find! We don't usually like bed and breakfast places, but this one is in a class of its own. Talk about atmosphere! Warm, creative, relaxing. I really felt renewed somehow by staying here in this beautiful lodge surrounded by woods. The managers are attentive but keep a low profile. The other guests were quiet and respected our privacy. We shared an outside deck but had our own dining niche on the upstairs balcony. Our bed was comfortable, and we had our own Keurig coffee in addition to the coffee service downstairs. We had our own microwave and refrigerator

Let's start out that this is definitely a lodge, and not what you would call a traditional bed and breakfast. We get in, and it's beautiful grounds. The lodge is rustic, and very northwestern. You get in, and don't expect to see anyone at the front desk. It says that you need to check in between 4-6, and call a number if no one is around. So we called. A man showed up. He checked us in. Gave us the tour. That was fine.
The Sacajawea room is big and spacious. My in-laws stayed there. We stayed in the Lady of Guadalupe room. It's tiny. It has a king bed, and a day bed in the

Absolutely gorgeous and secluded. They let you have the run of the main lodge. It is a little dated, but that didn't hurt a thing. We stayed in the Cedar Room which had 2 different rooms, 2 queen beds, and a fold out bed. It could hold 5 comfortably and for under $200 and it included breakfast there aren't a lot of hotels who could beat this price. Highly recommended for a relaxing weekend away.

My bf and I stayed in the lodge for two days. We loved it. Place is very quite and they have really cool system when they don't have sit down breakfast at the main lodge but they leave breakfast evening prior in your own fridge (sandwiches or waffles, yogurt etc). That actually works pretty good ! Trail around the lodge area is very cool and Rialto Beach is right nearby. For dinner we went to Forks - Pacific Pizza was pretty good. Lodge management is very nice and friendly. We loved the place :-) Room is pretty small though but it's the experience - when you basically comfortably "

Quaint. Friendly. Secluded. My boyfriend and I stayed at Manitou Lodge for four nights over the Christmas holidays. We were pleased with our room, the Eagle, which allowed us to bring our four month old lab. The grounds are beautiful and the lodge is warm and welcoming. I'd highly recommend a stay here.

Over the years, I've gotten more stingy with my 5 star ratings but I have almost nothing negative to say about ML.
I booked online a few days ahead of time (on Wednesday for a Saturday night). The pictures were accurate of the property.
I showed up around 3-3:15 (early for a 4pm checkin) and was told by two employees I was early and checkin wasn't until 4 but my cabin might be ready. I said no problem at all, I was just gonna read in the lobby and maybe use the wifi but no rush at all. I'd been off AT&T service and was jonesin' for the wifi, a little. AT&T doesn

Can't recommend this place enough! I stayed in one of the campsites and it was amazing! All the benefits of camping without the annoying set up and tear down!
They thought of so many details, like an axe to chop logs and a lamp in the tent, along with a comfy bed and plenty of blankets.
All I really had to bring was food! I brought my stove, but they provide a grill for the firepit so even that was optional. And don't worry about taking up car space bringing firewood. . People sell it all over and I found all I needed just walking around.

Have had a great stay here. Drove out from Seattle, got a late start and then delayed by road closures. Owners were so gracious to leave our room key out to get in. Let us take our time. Location is great if you want to visit Rialto beach, or parts of the Olympic National Forest. Its very clean, quiet, and the most perfect place for your lodge in the forest getaway. Can't wait to come back.

My wife and I gave this place a shot for a last minute weekend getaway and we came away having had a pleasant experience.
We stayed at the Outback, which is one of the small cabins located just outside the main lodge. And no, "small" is not a relative term in this instance. We (2 couples and 1 toddler) stayed at Manitou for one night in June. It was just an okay experience.
-Check in at 4pm and check out at 11am. We happened to be in the area after 2pm and asked about early check-in but it wasn't possible.
-Breakfast was prepackaged in a basket left in the fridge. 4 ham/egg/cheese croissants, 4 small dishes of yogurt, some fruit, OJ in a carafe, couple pieces of toast w/ jam.
-Our room "cedar" (the only 2 room suite) was located RIGHT next to the check-in counter. That was a bit disconcerting, but the lodge didn't seem very busy/people were
