Salem Audiology Clinic
Are you ready to start living your life to the fullest again? Without the barrier of hearing loss, you'll feel reconnected to the people, activities, and sounds that matter most, without the stress and strain that hearing impairment creates. Hearing tests diagnose hearing loss. Hearing loss affects about one-third of all adults over the age of 65.

Most people wait an average of seven years before they seek help with their hearing problem. If you or a loved one is getting fitted with hearing aids soon, you're probably wondering what's in store for you. Learn more about the typical hearing aid fitting process and what to expect. Hearing loss affects over roughly 48 million Americans and one in six baby boomers.
Services
Established in 1982 with just two employees, Norman and JoAnn Frink wanted to improve communication for the hearing impaired. What started as a single "mom and pop" business has since developed over three decades. We have grown to a staff of over 20, with three locations to serve the Willamette Valley.
Hearing loss typically produces a decrease in the perception and understanding of sound, particularly under difficult listening conditions such as background noise. The perception of both simple and complex sounds (ie: speech and music) is usually affected. Today one in eight people in the United States (13 percent, or 30 million) aged 12 years or older has hearing loss in both ears, based on standard hearing examinations.
If you're not sure - maybe you've started to think you do, or people close to you have said you might - take our free online hearing test. Before starting the online hearing test please make sure you have headphones and are in a quiet area to complete the hearing test. This online hearing test is not meant to replace a thorough evaluation from a hearing professional or audiologist.
Here at Salem Audiology Clinic, we believe that an educated patient is our best patient. It is because of this belief that we have developed our Shoppers Guide to Hearing Aids. The guide was written with the goal of providing consumers with good, common-sense information that they can utilize to be successful with hearing aids.
Like most electronic devices, your hearing aids require a power supply to operate correctly. The slightest change in power output can affect performance, volume, and clarity. But keep in mind that just as all hearing aids are not created equal, all hearing aid batteries also have their benefits and drawbacks.

I've worn hearing aids for 26 years. In less than an hour, Scot educated me. I learned more about proper evaluation procedures in that short period of time, than I have in the past 26 years. But more so, his character and integrity shown through brightly in his recommendations.

I wish there was an option for more than 5 stars... the owners of Salem Audiology are shining examples of how a quality practice should be run. They are fair and they are smart and they truly are patient centered. I believe that you cannot find that very often these days in other practices or even in other industries. I give them 10 stars!

I highly recommend Salem Audiology! I have taken family members here for their hearing needs since 2012. What I like most is the quality products that they offer as well as their customer service. My family travels 3 hours to come just for the service and quality products. Scott has been so amazing to work with, he is always looking out for the customer! If you have any doubt , don't. This family owned business looks out for the patient! Highly recommend!

I cant say enough about this clinic and the wonderful staff.
My first experience 6 years ago, I went to a different audiologist clinic in Salem Or. and the treatment there was less than adequate. The staff was "rushy", rude, and reluctant to spend time with me in adjusting my new hearing aids. I was somewhat bewildered and disappointed although grateful I could hear again, I had no idea what a difference a caring, professional team of audiologists could make.
From the beginning of extensive testing all the way through my adjustments, both Carol and Scott have gone the extra mile in giving me

I have worked with Salem Audiology for 10 years and from the very beginning, when I didn't know anything about my sudden hearing loss. Their service has always been top notch! Everyone in their office, from reception, technicians and billing, to the doctors, and students assistants, they are all so kind, and have always shared all the details of what I have needed to know, They helped me understand what is and isn't covered by insurance, warranties on products, what brands of products will best fit my needs, as well as trial periods for the options of aides that may work for me! They also helped

I am an audiologist in Tucson, AZ and I cannot say enough good things about this practice and its owner, Scot Frink. Scot's practice is an excellent example of what audiology best practices look like. He devotes time to his own patients and staff, but also takes time to mentor other audiologists around the country, because it is his passion. In this industry, it is helpful for providers, like myself to have trusted individuals and practices, where we can refer our patients when needed.

I love Salem Audiology. I've been hearing-impaired all my life, and as an adult, this business feels like a part of my community. I have bought two sets of hearing aids from them, and those hearing aids have been tweaked by many different audiologists. I've also had my children's hearing tested there multiple times.
They are such a successful business that, since my first pair of hearing aids, they have expanded to two more locations. Although I haven't gone to all their locations, I'm told that several of the audiologists I've worked with now work at those new locations.
They love my kids. No
