Wills Creek Vineyards
Welcome to Wills Creek Vineyards and Winery and Wills Creek Vineyards at the Windmill. We are nestled in the Appalachian foothills of Big Wills Valley in the community of Duck Springs, AL. Founders Jahn and Janie Coppey established Wills Creek Vineyards in 1996 and opened the Winery in 2001. Jahn grew up in the Rhone valley of Switzerland in a family of vineyard owners.

With Janie's family history in farming, planting vineyards on the family's property was a perfect transition to grow muscadines and produce a variety of muscadine and vinifera wines. On any visit to the winery, you will find a variety of activities for wine and nature lovers alike.
Services
Shop our wines at the Wills Creek Winery tasting room and gift shop, order them online, or find your favorites at a retailer near you. Wills Creek Vineyards produces a variety of muscadine wines, locally growth fruit wines, naturally flavored grapevines, specialty viniferoas wines, and dessert wines.
Wills Creek Vineyards operates two separate properties two miles from one another in the Duck Springs Valley of Alabama. Both properties are used for growing muscadine grapes that are cultivated and processed for making Wills Creek Vineyards' well-known muscadine wines. Wills Creek Winery houses all of our wine processing facilities, tasting room and gift shop, and is open year-round to the public.
A classic wine with a rich aromatic bouquet of fresh red cherries, toasted oak, and herbs. Expressive flavors of dark ripe plums, berries, and silky tannins on the palate. Passion, dedication and commitment are the main ingredients of the unbreakable bond between Dan and Vatani, but love is its true foundation.
At Wills Creek Vineyards at the Mill we specialize in weddings and special occasions. An outdoor sanctuary created by the pecan trees, gorgeous mountain views, and of course, the luscious greenery provided by acres of muscadine vines. When you book with us you can enjoy use of the property for the entire weekend, Friday through Sunday.
On the first Saturday of each month, we conduct a wine making class for beginners interested in making their own wines from juice or concentrate. Basic concepts of wine making are introduced by demonstrating the process and actually starting a wine. The class is held at 2 pm and lasts 1 to 2 hours depending on questions.

You guys! This place is the epitome of a hidden gem! They have a great balance of sweets, semisweet, and dry wines! The staff is amazing! The winery cat is super sweet and an added bonus for the animal lover! The views are stunning especially now that the fall colors are on display.
We left with a case of a variety of wines to enjoy at home. I can not recommend Wills Creek Winery enough! I will be heading back in a couple of weeks to purchase their holiday and dessert wines!
