One of the most common complaints in our office is that of heel pain. In excess of ninety percent of heel pain complaints are diagnosed as having inflammation of the plantar fascia (a ligament on the bottom of the foot). Commonly referred to as a heel spur or stone bruise, plantar fasciitis (plantar fashitis) can be a severely debilitating and painful condition.

My daughter was referred to Dr. Block. During the first visit he seemed nice and knew what he was doing. After a couple visits he seemed distant and popped off to me. I just assumed that maybe he had something going on in his life. If that is the case I am sorry. But if it isn't, his bed side manor can be approved.
He did a procedure on my daughter's foot leaving holes. Then he missed several of the warts. During her 2 week follow up he scolds me for not putting ointment on her open wou d. But in all fairness I just wanted to do exactly as he had said and put on paper. Soak her feet twice daily

Easy to get back to the examining rooms, friendly staff. The only problem I have is getting into the office. I am in a power chair and can't pull the doors open. I have noticed a lot of people are having the same problem when they are using canes or walkers. Maybe an automatic door opener? The staff are quick to come to help with the door but at times they are all busy and can't constantly watch the door to see if someone needs help.

Dr Block and his staff were amazing. I had a bone spur and plantar fasciitis. He tried shots and physical therapy and when they did not produce the results that he wanted., Dr Block performed surgery to remove the spur. Through the entire process Dr Block and staff were very accommodating. Hopefully I won't need his services again but if I have any other foot issues I will definitely come back to him. highly recommend The Bluegrass Foot Center and Dr Block!!

I started seeing Dr. Block after having some issues with plantar fasciitis for the first time. His staff has been extremely helpful and polite. Dr. Block has been extremely informative and helpful. I now have zero pain in my foot thanks to Dr. Block and his treatment. Would recommend his office to anyone!
