Upwire Electric is great. Jim has come over to our house multiple times for smallish jobs-- he is always prompt, professional, and friendly. The work is excellent and fairly priced, and for this last job he even added a work-day on the weekend to fit us in because they were booked out so far.

I’ve never hired an electrician before, so it was a very daunting process. I was amazed at how many electricians either didn’t call back or scheduled the appointment and didn’t show up. Then we called Upwire Electric who showed up on time and were very professional (especially during COVID).
Jim was always on time, always cleaned up, and did a fantastic job. He really surpassed our expectations.

We had a 200 ft spruce fall in the latest storm and rip the Electrican lines away from our house. I called up wire and they returned my call within minutes. Griffen was out that morning and returned with everything to complete the work while National Grid cutting the tree away from the lines. Quick, professional and very nice! I would highly recommend!!!

I called Upwire Electric and was directed to an answering service, good news, they called me back within the hour.
Jim came out the next day to give an estimate and look at the project. He followed up that night with a comprehensive e-mail estimate that detailed everything to the last outlet.
Jim's demeanor and communication were very professional, he was a pleasure to work with!
He completed the rough electrical and finish electrical with great care and cleanliness. I will be using Jim in the future for more work, I recommend him and Upwire Electric very highly, you will not be

We had Jim replace a main electrical panel and install a generator inlet. We had other quotes from electricians who were going to cut corners; Jim did the job the right way and it was fast. He coordinated with the electric company and building inspector.
We could not be happier with the work, I would highly recommend him. When we lost power in a storm the generator powered up our essential appliances just as we had planned.
