Van Dam Iron Works, Inc. was founded in 1930 when Gerrit Van Dam began hand crafting ornamental iron for his local commercial and residential customers in Grand Rapids, MI. His mission to provide innovative quality products and outstanding customer service became the keystone that has supported our business over these 80 plus years, and continues as our mission today.
Van Dam offers in-house professional structural steel and miscellaneous metals detailing using AutoCad 2014, with 3D modeling services using Advance Steel. We also can provide engineering services for design calculations, sealed permit drawings and shop ready CAD files for fabrication. Experienced and professional project management is available for all projects, regardless of size.
