Ultimately the floors and stairs look really good. But the process to get there was not smooth. The stairs had to be redone because they were installed incorrectly, and the owner was aware enough to point this out himself. But then when they came back to re install, they made several mistakes, wouldn’t respond to communications about these mistakes promptly, and ultimately the project took more than a month than expected to finally get everything done

What I really appreciated about ASA is their honesty. I had 4 other flooring installers give me quotes on our floors, and all of them told me different things and had different ideas of what we should do with our floors. We had a mix of needing new hardwood installed, existing hardwood needing to either be replaced or refinished, and areas that had been damaged or removed and needed to be interlaced with new wood. They ended up doing all of the work within only 2 weeks of the consultation, AND we saved some money because of the recommendations they made to save our existing hardwood. I am so glad

After calling 4-5 flooring companies I got in touch with Steve, the owner of ASA. He came the next day to do a walk through and give us a price for refinishing and re-staining our hardwood floors. He gave us a really good price for the work, compared to other quotes I received online. Steve helped educate us on oil vs water based finishing, and was flexible with us as we decided on our colors. 3 business days later his team started the work. Wanted for years to tear out old carpet in upstairs bedrooms and put in hardwood but was nervous about doing it for all the obvious reasons, cost, time, quality etc. Steve and his crew addressed all these for a reasonable price, timeline and with excellent results. I hired the ASA team to install hardwood floors in my master bedroom. They did an exceptional job of matching the floors that had been previously installed by the builder. ASA was referred to us by a good friend who was very happy with their results and their floors were beautiful. So we got a quote from Steve the owner. We found his pricing very fair, not too high and not too low. He was extremely easy and professional to deal with and answered the many questions I had. He really took the time to walk through everything and did frequent follow ups and check ins on our large project to keep us informed. The entire project started and ended just as he told us. I'd highly recommend them if you're looking for a good, honest flooring company.

We had white oak hard wood floor installed by Steve's crews and everything was beyond our expectations. From estimate to finish it was really easy to work with and very professional and timely manner. Steve (Owner) was very communicative which he made sure everything is going alright.
Our project was little bit complicated because we needed match the existing white oak colour to new one but they did outstanding job which we can't even really notice the different. Overall experience was great and I would definitely hire them again!

ASA Flooring? More like OMG Flooring! Yes, I am a millennial who loves acronyms.
We originally got 4 quotes to get our hardwood floors refinished. Our floors had some water marks, a candle burn and a few gaps in between the planks. They weren't terrible but it was quite a bit of an eye sore. Steve, the owner, was the one to come down for our free quote. The price was very competitive compared to the others which made us go with ASA Flooring.

ASA was great to work with. We worked with them to replace some existing engineered woods floors as well as refinish a few rooms with old hardwood. They were well-priced, prompt, and their work turned out beautifully. When complications arose (e.g. our old floors were glued rather than nailed, the timeline with our painters got pushed around) they communicated well and worked with us to find the best solution.
Should we ever need more flooring work done, I wouldn't hesitate to work with ASA again!
