My name is Luis Avils, reviving the appearance of your vehicle's paint is what I enjoy doing. I started detailing in 1993 for a reputable Carwash and Detail shop in the Western Suburbs. I've been detailing on and off for the last 20 years. I am a car enthusiast following a dream of opening my own detail shop.
As a side business from my office job I started my own business Automobile Day Spa in 2008. I wanted to offer my great auto detailing services to many of my car enthusiast friends and customers. As of 2013, I've started offering my services on a full time basis. With over 20 years of detailing experience, I take great pride in what I do.

Services
Clay barring is a process that removes abrasive, bumpy sediment and rail dust from your paint, glass, clear coat, gel coat, or other rough surface. Opti-Coat (Opti-Guard) is a hard wearing, aftermarket, ceramic clear coat for superior resistance to scratching (9H) and chemical etching from environmental impacts.

Loui helped me out with my United Motorsports tune on my Golf R and was very flexible setting up a time to meet which was great. He was very knowledgeable about the tune and took the time to explain how it worked so I was completely comfortable with it. Loui is obviously a VW enthusiast and does a lot for the community, thanks dude!

Emailed Luis back and for for a week asking questions. I was looking for a new auto Detailer after my prior shop raised the price $500.00 for serum lite. I was trying to upgrade the ceramic protection on a 2012 Prius C with 134,000 miles. Luis drove to my place on the morning of the Fourth of July to look at both my car and my Wife’s 2017 Prius C with 8,400 miles! His prices are (for the vastly superior Optimum Opti-Coat Pro) less than the entry level serum lite at my old shop!
The 2012 Prius C looks fabulous. I looked closely at car last night. Luis got a 25% tip! He cleaned the engine compartment

Lui flashed a united motorsports tune on my 14' gti and i literally drove home with a smile. Besides the tune Lui is the type of guy who is obviously passionate about his craft. Not only will i be returning to automobile day spa, i will be recommending to anyone and everyone who cares about their automobile as much as i do.

Louie did a fantastic job on our GTI. The detailing and opti coat took him longer than expected (paint correction on a brand new car was not expected, so that took some extra time), but this is not something you want someone to rush through just to get done on time. In the end the car looks amazing, and I will definitely be bringing my other cars to him in the future.

If you ever wanted to give your car the attention it deserves, then there is no place better than Automobile Day Spa. Your car never felt so good after a Full Exterior Detail along with an Opti-Coat treatment. Lui @ ADS is very meticulous in his workmanship and the results DEFINITELY show. What speaks volumes to me is that every vehicle is given the same amount of attention from a Ford F-150 to a Nissan GTR.
