Steve's Tailoring & Men's Wear has been a cornerstone in Canton since 1975 but its history actually started in Greece in 1945 just as World War II came to a close. That's when Stavros Antoniades (later known as Steve) was sent away to apprentice under a master tailor at the young age of 13.
His apprenticeship took many years of perseverance but it was there Stavros learned the skills of a master tailor; an education that just isn't available anymore.He went on to serve in the Greek military on the island of Crete. After serving his country Stavros opened his first tailor shop in Greece in 1950.

Had my suit hemmed here the other day. My limbs are much shorter than my torso and the suit I bought had my arms and legs swimming in cloth. They got the sleeves and pants hemmed up just right in about two weeks. I wasn't expect them to move the buttons on the sleeves for me, and was pleasantly surprised when they did. Steve himself was friendly and professional. I'll definitely come back for any other tailoring needs that arise.

I needed some pants hemmed within a couple days. Steve's was the first place I called and he was able to fit me in and get the alterations taken care of within the time frame. He did a wonderful job and even helped me with another thing I was unsure of. I was happy not only with how fantastic his work was, but how kind and helpful he was. I will always recommend him and will be a repeat client.

GREAT SERVICE, AND GREAT WORK. I have never received service this good. Steve is a great tailor his work is on point. The prices are fair and the work is done on time. To talk about my experience, I had to get some work done on a suit and the promised day was Saturday. I needed the suit for an event and my flight was on Monday. Because of staying up late to pack my luggage I couldn't make it on Saturday in time to pick up my suit. At that point I lost hope because Steve's is closed on Sunday and Monday. But I went to his website and I left him an email. A few hours later he replied and we were

What a wonderful tailor and menswear shop. I came to Steve with an urgent request; I needed a pair of suit slacks let out in time for a very important job interview. After visiting the shop, I was pleasantly surprised to find a classic experience. It's different than walking into a department store. I actually wound up buying a new suit, instead of wearing my old one. He tailored it for me that same day, in time for my interview. I would highly recommend Steve's to anyone, and will definitely be visiting him again soon!
