Our founder Tayo Ogundele is a young entrepreneur hailing from Nigeria raised in Baltimore, MD. Growing up in a family with a hotel business in Nigeria and a catering business here in the States has given her years of local event planning experience. She has always had a passion for helping plan parties for fun.
Our event planning services start with taking the time to understand what you really want. We will connect you with the right vendors, and together we will plan an event to remember. Fancy AF is a podcast by a millennial Nigerian-American woman where we discuss hot topics such as love, relationships, and spirituality all while giving a little advice! The name comes from the host's business TizzleYourFancyEvents. Everyone deserves to feel a little fancy! Listen weekly and join this ride.
Although we work with very talented vendors who we know and trust the quality of their work, you do not have to use them for your event. If you have a preference that's great, we love working with new people and building new relationships! We can plan almost any event under the sun from corporate events to birthdays, bridal showers, and even proposals, just ask!

Tay was a great planner for my birthday party. She took care of every small detail to make the day perfect. I told her what I was looking for and wanted she did more than deliver. My mom was also very impressed with her professionalism and friendly disposition. I would recommend Tay to anyone for any event they’re having. She has an eye for all things party and the passion to make it happen. Whatever you need she will make it work.

TizzleYourFancyEvents is now my go too for ALL my events. I wanted to celebrate my birthday during this pandemic and had no clue of what I wanted. Tayo was very patient, and helped me to figure out what colors, decor and theme I wanted for my event at a reasonable price. Super responsive, always ready and waiting to answer all my questions and concerns. She was fun to work with, very professional and made the whole planning experience a stress-free one.
