The year was 1976. After working for the Leeds Shoe Company for about 20 years, rising from a young shoe salesman to becoming the Executive Vice President of the Women's Division, Dale Dotson decided to open his very own shoe store. With the knowledge and experience he gained working in the corporate world, he successfully opened up his first store in the Volusia Mall in Daytona Beach, Florida.

Very unhappy with this shoe store. This is the first time I've ever written a bad review. But, the salesperson was more interested in making a sale then selling me what I needed and wanted. I wanted to purchase a pair of sandals that I had worn in the past and was very happy with. The salesperson talked me into a pair of sandals that were too big for my feet. I also purchased a pair of shoes. Again he talked me into a shoe that is too small for my feet. I wasted my money and would have been better off at a discount shoe place. The danger in listening to someone who works on commission.

I have never been so pampered!! I was greeted at the door by Matthew and after explaining what I was looking for he brought me shoes that were exactly what I wanted. Matthew measured my feet and pampered me throughout the entire visit. I would recommend Dales Shoes to anyone looking for great shoes and wonderful customer service!!

If you have specific issues with your feet, Dale's Shoes and Padorthics is the place to go! Besides a large selection of shoes, especially in wide widths. Be cause of an ankle brace I wear on my 1 foot, I need a 10EEEEEE and they have the New Balance I need AND had them in stock. They can also stretch existing shoes in their repair shop. This is great if you have something like a bunion!

Had the worst experience ever on my return. Purchased sneakers that didn't work for me. Could tell she was upset about return. Asked if I wanted something else. When I said I found something on the internet, her comment was, "was You are supposed to shop local businesses not the internet .". Snarkiness is never a nice quality. Sorry you lost your commission. wow wow wow. Always use your polka face.
