We are a full-service eyecare center located in Ocala, Florida. With a team of four highly trained optometrists and a friendly staff, we are here to take care of all your eyecare needs. We feature a wide range of fashion frames to suit your style, as well as the right contact lenses to suit your needs.
We provide advanced corneal reshaping called Ortho K, which is short for orthokeratology and used to improve astigmatism, farsightedness and nearsightedness. Other ways we treat these eye conditions are through eye glasses. We have more than 2,000 frames in stock. Our optometry services include pediatric and geriatrics, as well as keratoconus and medical optometry.

At Ritz & Johnson, our goal is promote good eye health and enable you to have the clearest vision possible. We accept several types of vision insurance, cash, checks, and most credit cards. We inform our Ocala patients about exam and treatment costs at the beginning of your appointment. If you require a breakdown of costs, please let us know.

Ritz and Johnson have been an amazing firm to work with. They quickly saw my visiting aunt who was having an eye emergency over the Thanksgiving weekend and got me in within 24 hours after I broke my glasses. Their staff is always so cheerful and friendly and make you feel welcomed and comfortable whether you’re a patient or guest of a patient. I am new to Ocala but would highly recommend them to anyone that asked.

I was very pleased with my visit. I am transitioning from my Pennsylvania doctor and I was happy with the thoroughness of my eye exam and the time spent explaining my condition.
All the associates were pleasant and friendly. Kat was very helpful in the selection of my glasses.

The staff is incredibly friendly and efficient describing exactly what was happening during every aspect of the exam! My doctor is so knowledgeable and recommended a better contact lens that I love. Then, to make it even better, when reconciling my account and ordering lenses, the attendant explained a $75 rebate program. Awesome service and experience!!! Quick in and out!!! I will be back!!!

Our entire family (8 of us) go to Ritz and Johnson. Dr. Menjivar is very knowledgeable and personable. He has taken the time to get to know us. Despite already wearing glasses, his knowledge of newer technology and products has helped one of my son’s vision improve. He patiently helped my daughter get her contact prescription just right. I recommend him to everyone. We have had great experience with the glasses and contacts we get from the optical center. They have fixed several frames and lenses under warranty, which is awesome since kids can be hard on glasses.

From the time I walked in the door, everyone who helped me was smiling and that made my day! Ophthalmologist Dr. Willeford is amazing. He explained what was going on with my eyes, in English. I left with a solution to better vision. He is nice and friendly. A doctor with a great bedside manner! The beautiful optician that fitted me with glasses is amazing! I’ll be back and the drive takes 54 minutes 🌻

I cannot recommend Dr. Willeford and his staff enough! The front desk staff was so kind and ready to help as soon as I walked through the door! Emily, Dr. Willefords assistant, was so professional and efficient with everything she did which made my appointment go smoothly every step of the way. Dr. Willeford is awesome! He takes his time to help you understand what he is looking for when examining your eyes and is sure to answer any questions you may have.

If I could give this office 1000 stars, I would. The entire staff are helpful, kind, professional, and caring. Dr. Willeford is amazing. I am dealing with sudden vision loss/blind spots in both my eyes. At 32 years old, this is terrifying. Dr. Willeford is so genuine In wanting to help and letting me know he is doing all he can to figure this out,… including doing research on my condition after hours! I really can’t express my gratitude. I’ve had some really terrible experiences this past week with other health professionals/medical facilities and it makes you feel alone and
