Sunset Marine Labs, LLC was founded in 1996 in an effort to bring jellyfish to the commercial marine ornamental fish market. Since its conception, Sunset Marine Labs has been dedicated to breeding healthy moon jellyfish, designing custom and standard jellyfish tanks and life support systems, as well as, producing nutritious jellyfish food. Product R&D in the way of jellyfish tank design, nutritional food sources, maintenance procedures, and husbandry techniques for jellyfish has kept us busy the past 25+ years.

My jellyfish arrived alive and in great shape. Great customer support and service. Clean and manageable website with wonderful instructional videos and blogs to help the novice hobbyist. I chose SML because they have been in the jelly business since 1996 and seemed to really care about the well being of their product once it leaves their facility. Although I only purchased the minimum livestock order available I have been treated as a valuable customer. Thank you Sunset Marine Labs.

Sunset Marine Labs is the only place you should consider to purchase sea jellies, in my opinion. With such a limited amount of vendors across the US, and the striking disparity in health and vigor when comparing the jellies offered by Sunset Marine Labs, and the only other "big market" vendor on the East Coast, it's a no brainer.
While I have had good experiences with "the other guys", I was somewhat shocked, and ecstatic upon receiving my first batch from Sunset, because they are simply that much more beautiful and healthy from Nancy and her crew. The difference was striking

If you are looking to buy healthy jellyfish and a great tank, buy from Sunset Marine Labs. The customer service from the owner Nancy is amazing. She helps with any questions and is very informative. I've gone with other companies in the past for jellyfish and only regret it. I wish I would've bought my first jellyfish tank here. The price is worth the money!!

I absolutely LOVE my EON tank for my jellyfish. It is by far the best of all the tanks I have owned, which includes the Cubic 20 and the Jellyfish Art tank. However, it isn't just product quality which makes me rate Sunset Marine Labs a 5/5 stars. It's also their impeccable costumer service. Nancy, who I have been in contact with since my tank purchase, has been a crowning gem of support and assistance. I had an issue with my pump being too loud, she happily and kindly replaced it for free. Even shipped it overnight to me with my jellies so I didn't have to wait. I cannot express enough how much

I seriously was miserable after having killed off too many jellyfish in my Jellyfish Art tank (which is a monstrosity I review elsewhere) and was a little leery about getting another tank.
Sunset Marine Lab's Eon is awesome. It's a gorgeous design, high quality materials, and their staff actually knows what is up when it comes to fielding customer questions. Nancy is as engaged in making sure her customers are happy as she is with making sure that the jellyfish she sells leave her facility healthy and stay healthy in their new homes. She's been incredibly awesome and responsive

Absolutely hands down the BEST marine product store. Im not just saying that to be a fanboy, but the customer service from NANCY in particular is absolutely astounding. Product quality surpasses everything youd expect, especially the build of their eon tank. It is worth the money. Their tanks are built of the highest quality material and very innovative engineering. Their live specimens always come healthy and free of disease and ailments. The food is high quality baby brine shrimp perfect for the pelagic animals.
