Other funeral homes in town said it would take at least 10 days to complete and they were twice as expensive. The Hudgels have a tradition of coming alongside families in their time of need. For over 50 years and three generations we have treated families the way we would want to be treated. Richard Hudgel, our grandfather, founded our first Hudgel family funeral home in Iowa in the 1930's. It was during the Depression, and the family furniture business was housed in the same building to make ends meet.
This fee for our basic services and overhead will be added to the total cost of the funeral arrangements you select. The services shown are those we can provide to our families. You may choose only the items you desire. If legal or other requirements mean you must buy any items you did not specifically ask for, we will explain the reason in writing on the statement we provide.

My experience with the gentlemen of Hudgel's was filled with ease, kindness and genuine engagement. I appreciate that the business is family owned and run. It is clear that they have been devoted to this line of work for a lifetime. If you want your loved one treated with respect I highly recommend their services. My boyfriend’s son passed away in a tragic incident and we found out while on our way to AZ from CA. His family and us were in shock and did not even know where to begin for any arrangements since we are having the service in CA. Neither of us have had to plan arrangements for a loved one before and are extremely thankful to our friends for finding Hudgel’s Swan Funeral Home. I would give these guy’s 10 stars if I could. They were fantastic and handled everything with care. I selected Hudgel’s Swan Funeral Home because they were one of the only family-owned funeral homes left in Tucson. The difference in quality and care given was noticeable as they handled everything with every detail perfectly. Prices are very reasonable and cremation services were quick. The only hold up we had was with Pima County and that wasn’t the funeral home’s fault. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a funeral home. I know if I find a need for funeral services

Never thought I would do a review of a Funeral home, but after going through the process of a family member passing here I am. My Father-in-Law passed a few weeks ago, my wife & I live in Virginia, but were here for a visit with parents. We are not from here so were clueless on who to contact and parents were not prepared. We have used Hudgel Swan Funeral Home twice now. First for my brother and then my mother. Both times the Hudgels were professional, caring, and showed compassion for what we were going through. We met with Brian both times and he expressed his sincere sorrow for our loss and what the family was dealing with. He then explained what would need to done and outlined decisions we would need to make. He was patient as he explained our options and offered us some sound advise. After the meeting the funeral home took care of everything and we could focus on dealing with our loss. I would not hesitate

Brian was very caring and compassionate. My mother's passing was sudden and we had not made any plans. Brian was able to meet with my sister and me early on a Saturday morning even though he had a funeral later that morning. He was very calm and efficient and the opposite of high-pressure. He even offered us options to save money. I would highly recommend Brian Hudgel and Hudgel's Swan Funeral Home.

The owners of Hudgel's Swan Funeral Home are the kindest and most compassionate men you'll ever want to meet. Both my Father and Mother passed away within the last few years, and Brian Hudgel helped us with all the cremation arrangments efficiently and knowledgeably. He is kind, sincere, and thoughtful to the highest degree. Brian made our situation so much easier and that's saying a lot, considering what we were going through.
