I came to Chicago due to a family emergency. I was physically trashed, exhausted, empty of energy, and in great physical pain. Then, I started to visit Dr. Wolf on a weekly basis. Gradually, energy returned to me, and my body began to recover, for the first time in years. The help and healing I received in this office were priceless to me in my difficult time. Myself & some co workers decided to go to herb & Ōhm to test the waters with acupuncture & cupping. We all found the experience very gratifying & relieving & really loved how we were treated as soon as we walked in the door. The space is beautiful & extremely clean as well! I personally worked with Jenna & she did an amazing job at explaining the different types of treatment & what I could expect from each one. She was great at answering any questions I had & is truly passionate about what she does. I myself will definitely be going back soon & my Co workers also agreed they’ll be back as well

I cannot recommend Herb + Ohm highly enough! If you are having issues with bladder pain, burning, or interstitial cystitis, Jennah is your girl! After months working with a urologist, I was able to control my pain, but it never totally disappeared. After two wonderful sessions with Jennah, things are under control. And Herb + Ohm has truly gone above and beyond during this Covid crisis. I was VERY nervous about just getting my symptoms under control for the first time in about 5 months when the stay at home order came about and I could no longer receive treatment at their office. 5 stars honestly does not do this place justice. It is not an exaggeration to say this place changed my life. I cannot recommend Dr. Gabriella Rivera enough!
Long story short, I had never tried acupuncture before and came into my first appointment with a multitude of complaints. I had been especially struggling with eczema and anxiety. Dr. Rivera made me feel at-ease with the process of acupuncture and recommended a course of treatment.
After weekly treatments for a little over 2 months, there is a night and day difference. My eczema has healed to the point where I no-longer need to use steroid

I had such a great experience at Herb & Ohm! I have to thank Dr. Gabriella Rivera and Alexis for making feel so comfortable at the clinic. I had been wanting to do Accupuncture for awhile now and I'm so glad I found Dr. Gabriella Rivera! I wanted to find someone who was knowledgeable with hormonal imbalances. I searched high and low and came across all of the positive reviews on yelp about her, and I'm so glad I decided to book an appointment!

Little did I know that Carissa also specializes in all things woman and has been able to help me manage not just the physical changes, but also the spiritual aspects that one goes through when entering motherhood. I stumbled upon Herb + Ōhm browsing through yelp so I think it's only fair to give my love to them! Dr. Gabriella Rivera has been performing acupuncture on me since December to help balance my hormones and stresses of every day life! She is such an awesome human, makes you feel super comfortable and really gets to the core issues of how you're feeling and what can be done to get me feeling better. Also as a hairstylist she helps the aches and pains in my neck and shoulders!

I cannot say enough positive things about Herb + Ohm, specifically Amy and Carissa! It took 8 years and 6 different GI Doctors to properly diagnose me with GI issues that I was told I would have the rest of my life. To see if there was a better alternative, besides medication and "learning to live with it," I started doing some research and found that acupuncture was a potential solution. I figured it would not hurt to try and I'm so glad I did! At my first consultation, Amy was great about listening to my concerns and offering suggestions. Her first suggestion was the Whole 30 diet

I tend to get insomnia when I travel and my recent trip to Chicago was no exception. I came to see Carissa, who not only treated me with compassion and care, but also offered some helpful insights regarding some of the (bad) lifestyle and eating habits I'd picked up that were likely exacerbating my issues. She gave me lots of information without lecturing or boring me - I walked out of the visit excited to implement her advice, and felt so relaxed after the treatment... AND I slept great that trip! Amy is wonderful. She has helped me deal with stress and her treatment of my chronic elbow pain has left me pain free for the first time in months. I could not be happier with my treatment. Dr. Gabriella Rivera is a class act! She made me feel extremely comfortable during my first acupuncture session and really took the time to get to know me. I came in with a minor case of Bell's Palsy and after one session it was noticeably better (85% back to normal after a few days). Dr. Rivera took the time to follow up with me and take images to review after each session. She really cares about the practice and my overall health - I appreciate her calm and sweet demeanor. Herb + Ohm is a soothing environment and very clean. Highly recommend!

Dr. Amy Wolf gave a very thorough consultation and review of how acupuncture can facilitate achieving my treatment goals. She gave plenty of time for questions and provided thoughtful answers. Amy is absolutely amazing. I came in for sciatic nerve pain and she not only got to the root of the pain but she asked me genuine questions about my lifestyle. I was reflecting on how much progress I have made since I started seeing Amy in August of last year. Within a month, I was completely off my meds (Flonaise and Zyrtec) and have not had one single sinus infection (generally get 1-2 every month). I'd been having breathing problems a few months after moving to Chicago (I chalked it up to the polar vortex). After a few months it started getting worse (prevented me from working out at my usual intensity) so I went to see the doctor and have them check me out. They diagnosed it as GERD and gave me some nexium/pepcid ac and sent me on my way.
