The Big Smoky Valley offers a wide variety of outdoor activities such as hiking, off roading, camping, hunting, fishing, canyoneering, rock climbing and stargazing. We are part of a 'dark sky' area and within 200 miles of Death Valley. Central Nevada has many amazing geological wonders to see like Diana's Punchbowl in Monitor Valley.

The Round Mountain area has a lot of wildlife to be seen, like deer, elk, coyote, mountain lion, big horn sheep, wild goats, owls, hawks and eagles. There are hot springs nearby and the "Worlds Largest Junk Car Forest" is located just south of Goldfield about 85 miles away. Our canyons offer spectacular views and occasional waterfalls, such as the one in Broad Canyon that is 175 feet tall.

Nice price and welcome accommodation in a remote area. Bed flimsy and bedding really thin and cheap, cheap everything. No shower curtain was a surprise, water went everywhere. Plugs fell easily out of outlets that needed changing. Wifi was not working. Everything really dated and shabby, stains on carpet that begged for cleaning. Sink barely drained, cracked melamine hopelessly spider webbed with stains, had to clean it with hydrogen peroxide to make it sanitary. Better than sleeping in my car in the cold temps.

Stopped here to rest for the evening. Received a discount on the room, thank you for that. The bed was fine slept well. Bar down the road to grab a pizza for dinner, that's about it around these parts except for the gold mine.

My family and I broke down about 30 miles north of here at night. We were towed back to the Jumping Jack, and we couldn't be more grateful. The manager is an amazing person. Helped us in all our needs and then some. The room is great. Spacious and quiet. All that is missing is an American flag out front and I have one that I will gift before I leave.

A little smokey in the room, but very spacious 2 bedroom. Good cable, quite, good air conditioning, not the fanciest place but it works !

Not the coziest bed, but I sure was thankful for a place to rest my head. Staff was friendly and great! Quiet location! (Middle of nowhere!) Met a very nice family passing through. No regret staying here in a pinch!

The manager is friendly and amazing the location is not even remotely what you would expect but it's very peaceful. This Motel and the surrounding community is the ideal small town!

Great place to break up the stretch between Tonopah and Battle Mountain. Not fancy, but friendly staff, comfortable beds, microwave/fridge, parking right outside your door, and updated air/heat.

Nice owner, very cute from the outside, with picnic tables and many big trees. The room itself is very small but at least has updated fridge and tv, small but comfy beds with clean new sheets. Stained carpet, collapsible cheap table and damaged chair, mirror, nightstand and dresser as well as cobwebs above the toilet. But considering the area, glad to have a place to spend the night.
