Lou is President of Northeast Planning Services, Inc. and founded the company in 1983. His expertise is in the sale of retirement plans and acts as a liason between clients and CPAs to promote the use of retirement plans for small closely held businesses. Lou graduated from Nasson College in Maine with a business degree.
Vested means the amount of the employer contribution which you are entitled to based on your years of service with the company. All employee deferrals are 100{234e6696b754301b557500ba45e04a769689d04ccfbf96a8d66eeac198a02862} vested. Employer contributions such as match and profit sharing are generally subject to a vesting schedule which increases with your years of service with the company.
