Services
The Olean Teachers and Postal Federal Credit Union was chartered in 1952. It is a not-for-profit financial institution owned and controlled by the members and is operated for your benefit through a Board of Directors elected by the members. The Board of Directors is the policy making and the governing body of the Credit Union.
Truth-in savings forms, regarding how dividend are paid, fees, and other services can be picked up at the Credit Union office. The Credit Union offers a wide variety of savings and term deposits accounts to help you save and plan for your future. The share savings account serves as your share ownership in the Credit Union.
Group Credit Insurance Group credit insurance is voluntary and not a requirement of your loan. To be eligible for Group Credit Life and/or Disability insurance, your loan must mature before your 70th birthday. Additionally, to be eligible for Credit Disability Insurance, you must be actively at work and gainfully employed at least 20 hours per week.
The Credit Union is currently not paying a dividend on share draft checking accounts regardless of the balance. If on any day your balance falls below the minimum balance you will not receive dividend for that day. If you close your account before the accrued dividend is paid you will not receive a dividend.
