Special FX makeup is something I have always had a great passion for. What exactly is special FX makeup you might ask. Well it would be anything from broken noses, bruises, burns, scratches, prosthetic application, blood, guts and gore. You'd be surprised what can be created with a little supplies and some imagination.
Photography makeup would include anything from head shots, boudoir, maternity shoots, fashion, editorial, grad photos, basically anything where you're going to be in front of a camera and a whole lot of light! These days with high definition photography, not just any makeup will do; if it's not applied correctly it can ruin your entire shoot.
I'm sure you want to look your best for every special occasion from a wedding, graduation, monumental anniversaries or birthdays, a special girls night out, any event where you're on stage in front of a crowd or for those "just because moments." You might not realize it but there are special tricks and techniques to apply makeup in such a way so you photograph well, look flawless on stage or from a distance and to help make your makeup lasting.
The world of cosmetics can be overwhelming for the average woman and believe it or not even for us makeup artists at times. With thousands of different products out there and hundreds of different shades and colors, shopping for the right products can feel nearly impossible. I've been playing with makeup since I was about 2 years old and always thought every girl knew about makeup and how to apply it.

Lyanna can do it all! She can create looks that are bold, elegant, wild, or understated. Every time she has done my makeup, I am blown away by how creative and awesome the final look is. She is so friendly to work with; her enthusiasm rubs off onto everyone; and she is so talented at what she does. Hands down, the best makeup artist to work with!

Lyanna is AMAZING! She came to my house at 5AM to do my hair and makeup on Halloween. She is extremely creative, talented, and professional. She's able to bring any creative idea to life and my makeup lasted all day! I was so happy with my overall look that I already booked Lyanna for Oct. 31, 2019!
