Rainbow Ranch is an LGBTQ+ campground located in Central Texas, outside of Groesbeck and located on Lake Limestone. Come see why we have been awarded the Dallas Voice's Readers Voice Award for BEST WEEKEND GETAWAY for 2009, 2010, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. Rainbow Ranch is the largest LGBT campground in Texas. Our campground is a place where LGBT men and women can relax, enjoy the outdoors, and feel free to be themselves. Throughout the year, we have alternating event weekends. You can either come on an "off" weekend to enjoy a more serene atmosphere or come join us for an event weekend.

Sites/Rentals Report

A Reservation and a Deposit are required to provide all campers with a designated campsite and adequate space to enjoy their visit. RESERVATIONS ARE NOT FIRM UNTIL DEPOSIT HAS BEEN MADE. A full refund will be made for any Reservations cancelled 7 days or more before your reserved arrival date. Cancellations within 7 days of your reserved arrival date will incur a penalty equal to 1 night and any deposit balance will be refunded.

Campground Rules Report

Check-In starts at 3:00 pm. Rainbow Ranch requires all guests to check in at the office prior to going to the camp area. All guests must sign a Release of Liability form at the time of check-in. While we do not expect anyone to experience any problems at the Ranch, accidents do happen. Use of facilities implies acceptance to Release of Liability.

Just got here, and it is definitely beyond my hopes for location, staff friendliness, amenities, and cleanliness! I reserved one of the small cabins which was perfect for me or if I had a partner with me. Bathrooms were clean and for the most part bug free! And the view…

Went for a chill weekend and it was great. My reservation was messed up and they called me to fix it. Bill is absolutely incredible and will go out of his way for you. Personable, always moving and always checking on people.
Campsites were clean and so were the facilities. People who have perm spots there are all friendly and their spots are beautiful to look at.
Fishing is good... catfish, drum, gar, bass, and one carp...
Go on a family weekend and relax or another weekend to cut loose.
Got another reservation already made!

Even though our tiny baby Bonnie got scared and escaped like Hudini.....she was found safely and ok the following day. WE cannot say THANK-YOU enough to everyone that helped with the search! Can't wait to come back again and again.

Great campsite! Staff is super friendly and if camping isn’t your thing you can rent a cabin or they also have a gorgeous house you can rent.

If I could give no stars I would. Such a nasty place. Don't go to this camp. People will spike your drinks and the staff are very horrible and rude.

Rainbow Rance. A place you'll know.. your Home... Me and my Corazon (Fiance) went there a weekend ago Aug 22-24, 2014... such a beautiful relaxing place to be. Meeting such friendly people and welcoming.. Loved every bit of it and can't wait to go again... Yeah this is home.. :-)
