We are not a quilt store-we are a working quilt studio located in the Karns community of Knoxville, Tennessee. We do not have retail hours but see our clients by appointment only. We do not post our address so that we may stay on task without interruptions. We have clients in Knoxville, in Tennessee and the entire United States.

Services
Smoky Mountain Quilt Studio was established in April of 2006. Owner Debbie Farnsworth has been an avid quilter since the 1980's and teacher since the 1990's. Her personal love is for all things concerning Applique. She also enjoys rug hooking, cross-stitching and reading.
Retired from their furniture store in 2017, Debbie and her husband, Dave, spend time on their mini-farm gardening, traveling out West in their RV, trips to the beaches of South Carolina and Alabama and spending time with their four children and five grandchildren who also live in Knoxville.

Our goal is to partner with you to create a beautiful quilt by doing high quality work with affordable prices, ensuring long-lasting memories. Our T-shirt quilts are different from most in that we actually QUILT the entire quilt top. Without the quilting stitches you run a huge risk in the 'blanket' coming apart when washed.
Please read our T-shirt quilts page for information on prices, sizes, how many t-shirts, etc. We no longer sell batting. Why? Well, there are so many choices and quite frankly, being a small studio, we cannot compete with quilt stores on prices. You will need to bring the batting of your choice with your quilt top to your appointment.
