In addition to a thorough inspection of your entire woodburning system, we remove soot and dangerous creosote from inside your chimney with a complete top to bottom cleaning that includes the fireplace, damper, smoke shelf, smoke chamber, and chimney flue. We needed to have our chimney inspected and to convert our gas fireplace to a natural fireplace. He did cap the gas line outside, but didn't cap the gas line in the fireplace. He completed his inspection and did a clean of the chimney. He seemed like he was in a hurry. I would have expected better quality for the service cost of $215.
The owner just called me upset about this review at 7:20 in the evening. I want to be clear that there wasn't gas leaking. Not sure if that was insinuated after reading my review above. The copper pipe on the inside of the fireplace was not capped with a physical

Was told I could only use cash or check to pay for a simple clean and inspection? I was not told this upfront. Brian scheduled the job and when I asked for a quote he told me cash or check. I informed him we are a corporate account and cound only do card. His response was "can't do" then told me I should have asked up front. Very unprofessional. Would not recommend.

He just so happened to be close by and came out within an hour to install my damper! I would highly recommend him for your chimney services!

Brian and I communicated via email which was great for me. Brian responded immediately and between 3 emails we worked out a date and time for my fireplace to be cleaned and inspected. He also took time to explain to me how to use my gas fire place and what cautions I should take. This was highly appreciated since I had never owned or operated a fireplace. The entire appointment took less than an hour. He gave me a quote before hand and didn't try to up sale anything. Good honest company.

Brian Miller is a scammer!!!! He vacuumed my chimney and that's it. I asked him to show me how the damper works, and he said all you have to do is pull the chain to open it. The very next day I am excited to start a 3 hour log in my fireplace for the first time. Well, I pulled the chain to open the damper and it made the noise he said I should hear that indicates its open. This was Thursday the 29th.
The next day Friday, I start a log, and have a beautiful fire for about 15 minutes. Then smoke starts coming through the fireplace doors, and i go outside and don't see any smoke coming

Great local business. We have been using London fog for over 15years. Brian is great! He ALWAYS calls before he arrives, he always arrives when he tells you he will. Brian does a fantastic job for a fair price. I don't know a business owner who is more coutious or conscientious . Beware of the three EXACT same negative reviews. Looks to me as though he was offered several choices to have the work done and he just choose not to, then made awful complaints.

I called this year after a good experience with this business in the past. Communication was difficult (phone tag, etc) and when we did finally get a date scheduled, he no-showed and has not returned my call. I have had chimney cleaning companies no-show before. Maybe it's a hallmark of the occupation?

He was a very nice guy and understanding of my toddler who wanted to "help." BUT we called to have him come and inspect what needed to be done to stop the ashy smell constantly coming from our chimney. He showed up, climbed on the roof, installed a new damper WITHOUT explaining to me or giving a quote. He just handed me a bill for $400 that he wanted to be paid for on the spot. He said, if I would have asked how much he would have told me before hand. Not to mention, he flaked on our original appointment and had to reschedule for a couple days later. Good work, but bad business etiquette
