Patients came for treatment and temporary clinic was set up in the corner of the verandah of a coffee warehouse. That's how Dembi Dollo Hospital began. The mengistu's communist government expropriated the hospital and the hospital lost all its credibility and went down the drain. The name was also changed to Dembi Dollo Hospital.

We promote the nation-wide practice of recovery of unused and unexpired medical supplies.

We accept donations of unused and unexpired medical supplies. A large proportion of Dembi Dollo Hospital Foundation's medical equipment come from manufacturers, distributors, hospitals, as well as medical companies.
Medical Equipment has become an important part of modern healthcare delivery, enabling screening, diagnostic and prevention of life-threatening diseases. Donations of Emergency Medical Equipment are critical in helping less-developed nations to provide quality treatment to patients.

It was a good time that I spent with Dembi Dollo Hospital Foundation children at the free health care camp. It was terrific and very heart touching to see how this foundation has arranged specialized doctors for free check-up camp for children. Sparsh is the best particular school for special needs children.

I donated a portion from my first salary to Dembi Dollo Hospital Foundation and volunteer as well at health care camp near to my place. The foundation is filled with a caring team member and professional doctors. I too get a receipt for my donation. Last Sunday, I volunteered at Dembi Dollo Hospital Foundation at eye care camp with other students of my school. The foundation was 100% genuine and helped people in health aid in the best possible manner. I request more people to volunteer with Dembi Dollo Hospital Foundation and help people around.
