Rich's tire is absolutely amazing!
I got a flat tire a week ago and went to Wheelworks in Mountain View. Wheelworks took 4 hours the first day to "patch it," charged me $31, and it went flat within 5 min of leaving. Then I went back a couple days later spent another 5 hours there where Wheelworks said it was not reparable and I needed new tires.

The worst happened! I had a flat tire Thanksgiving morning while on my way to visit my brother at the VA Hospital. Stupid me, I bought a car without a spare tire (Toyota Rav4). Rich's Tire answered the phone, sent a vehicle to where I was parked (? I'm from Nevada City), took my wheel off, went back to the shop and called me. They didn't have a new tire to fit, but I could buy a used tire. Yessir! The serviceman returned, put a beautiful tire on my car. I was on my way, not even late for dinner. It has been my privilege to have done business with Rich's Tire service. However, today I had the unfortunate experience of standing in the service are. With employees working no one took the time to say hello, welcome, or another type of salutations. After 15 minutes I took my business to Big O and they were readily available.

Had a great experience early this morning. It took a while to get through by phone, but reached them around 7:35 AM. Communication was vague, but I drove over with a flat, expecting to leave it and walk 2 blocks home, but he helped me on the spot and had me home and fixed in 10 minutes flat! And it was only $15 (I gave him $20, and I should have given more but didn't have the right change). So far, the tire is holding up fine. I hope to give them all my tire business from now on.

Those who said pick two; cheap, fast, or good were definitely not talking about Rich's Tire Services. I've been going there for years for tire repairs and they are speedy, well priced, and great at what they do. Conveniently located off of 101 in Mountain View, I will always use them when I need a quick patch before getting back on the road.

Today got in a bit of a trouble by getting a screw in the tire. We were looking for a place to fix that, however the nearby tire place told us that we have to make an appointment and come tomorrow - not the best solution for the problem that we had right in the moment. Staff from Rich’s tire services however told us that we can come right away! They fixed our problem in a few minutes - we were super satisfied and happy that we’ll be able to resume with our plans for the day. On top of that what especially delighted us - the price was very reasonable. The service was also friendly and polite

However, communication doesn't seem to be their strong suit and they provided some bad advice:
When I had a totally flat tire and informed them of such, they told me it would be totally fine to drive a mile to their shop. This turned out to be a terrible idea, as the wheel was completely shredded halfway there - it's my own fault for not doing any research and I know better now, but I'm confused as to why a mechanic would suggest this when every result online says that driving on a flat tire is never ever a good idea.

These guys are absolutely awesome! I got a flat after volunteering to help the evacuees down in Santa Cruz and needed a new set of tires anyway. The guys at Rich's Tire had me in and out in 20 minutes with 4 new tires at a very reasonable price! I would absolutely recommend them to anyone! They were very professional and followed all recommended covid guidelines. If you need a new set in a hurry then these are your guys!

My front tire was low so I called Rich's and asked how long the wait was and if they could check my tire. Upon arriving, there was no wait and they were able to see me right away. They found a small nail, repaired my tire and checked the air in the rest of my tires. They also sell tires in case you need to buy a spare/or a set of 4.
I've passed this place so many times on the way to the freeway and never noticed it was a tire shop. Easy access to 101 fwy!
