Irrigation Research Foundation
The Irrigation Research Foundation is a private, non-profit, 3rd party 501(c)3 research and demonstration farm established in 1994 from a vision created by Ed Trautman, a local farmer who owned the farm ground the IRF sits on. Ed Trautman donated the ground that is the IRF, and now runs 5 pivot systems and 1 lateral system all running on one centralized well that draws from 250 feet and covers 147 acres.

With several successful years, the Research Farm has been able to include dry land ground and currently leases a commercial sized pivot off site.

Below is a list of all Cooperators from 2010 to current. Just click your mouse on the Cooperator's name and find out more about who they are, and what they offer. The link will take you to the most recent year of trials completed with contact information or to their current website. All research data is owned by the Cooperator and it is at their discretion whether they publish results from their trials, or not.
The Cooperators listed in this section are companies which have contracted with the Irrigation Research Foundation. Some have given us their approval to post the results from the studies they have done at our location. These studies are the results of the season and we expect them to change from year to year.
