Since 2002, we have been actively funding healthcare technology companies in their very earliest stages, from emerging entities and companies seeking to expand or relocate, to university-based researchers or technology development groups.

Our staff consists of professionals from industry and academia with deep expertise in varying aspects of life sciences commercialization, including entrepreneurship, technology transfer, pharmacology, pharmaceutical marketing, biologics manufacturing and engineering.We know how to get things out of the lab and into the early stages of commercialization.

The Life Sciences Greenhouse of Central Pennsylvania provides early stage funding of up to $2 million - in the form of convertible debt or equity financing to viable life sciences companies that have significant potential for commercial growth. Develop promising life sciences companies into stronger businesses capable of attracting follow\-on funding.

The Life Sciences Greenhouse of Central Pennsylvania's 42-county service area contains more than 60 institutions of higher learning, including three major research universities: Penn State University (PSU), Lehigh University, and the Penn State College of Medicine. These three institutions serve as centerpieces for the life sciences hubs in the State College, Lehigh Valley and Harrisburg-Hershey areas.
