We are Theodore's Academy, Preschool & Childcare. Founded by Chris Ferry, a grandmother to five, a Siouxland native and successful local Entrepreneur. Chris identified a need in Sioux City for childcare and preschool. The preschools and childcare centers in the area are great, but there is not nearly enough for our community of growing families.
Theodore's Academy will reside in Whispering Creek, strategically placed to cater to the families either living or working Whispering Creek, Morningside, and surrounding local communities such as Lawton and Sergeant Bluff. Conveniently located near I-29 and Old Highway 141, easy access to the daycare was essential to enhance the parent experience everyday dropping off and picking up your sweet little ones.

We love Theodore‘s academy! My family recently moved to the area from Omaha. While in Omaha, we had our baby boy at a Montessori school and with family for daycare services.
When we made the decision to move north, I called what felt like every day care in Sioux City and in North Sioux City to try and get on a waiting list. Most were unresponsive and those who did respond did not seem excited to welcome a new child into their community. Other parents will understand how frustrating and stress inducing this situation can be! We knew we wanted to move, but I was insecure about the school environment
