Mike Lee is a second generation arborist and has over 40 years experience in tree services. He has degrees in Arboriculture and Urban Forestry from Stockbridge School of Agriculture at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Before starting Lee Tree Company in 1998, he worked in the industry for 26 years, serving 5 years as Vice President of Operations.
Mike started the business in his wife's hometown of York, allowing him to spend more time with their 6 children. His eldest son Mitchell is also a graduate of Stockbridge School of Agriculture and works as a certified arborist along side Mike. Mike and Lee Tree Company are committed to bettering the community and often volunteer their services.

Trees are pruned for many reasons. Proper pruning is important to maintain the health of your tree. Lee Tree Company has professional, trained employees that take pride in being able to do the right thing for the trees we work on. Proper pruning removes the hazard of dangerous, dead, decayed and diseased limbs.

Had a large maple tree ready to fall down on main power lines on my street due to rotting trunk. Called Lee Tree. Mike came over and gave me a very reasonable quote and due to the nature of the situation his crew arrived two days later. Cut it down, chopped it up and cleaned up everything. Awesome job, timely and very reasonable . I highly recommend them.

One of the things I really liked was that almost every time I called, he answered his phone which is rare these days. Scheduling was kind hectic but that was our fault because we needed a job done quickly due to a remodel project plus COVID, but he got it done for us in time and the crew did a great job. He was also very reasonable. I would recommend him to anyone!

Lee Tree, Mike Lee and his staff are outstanding. WE has a tree fall on our house in the middle of the night, I called Mike early in the morning and his staff showed up with a 1/2 hour to remove and cover the roof from the elements. They are also great citizens of York.

We had a tree "emergency" late on a Saturday afternoon. Family members attempted to cut down a tree close to the house. After notching it, hoping it would fall in the anticipated direction, the tree started to seriously lean toward the house. We knew we were in trouble.

We just had multiple trees cut and removed from our yard by Lee Tree Company. The bill exactly matched the quote, the crew was extremely courteous and the job was completed with the utmost professionalism. Lee Tree took down the trees neatly and quickly, and did an excellent job cleaning up the yard. We highly recommend Lee Tree Company.
