Dr. John Streiff at edinboro medical center located in Edinboro PA is completely out of line and rude. I took my 12 year old daughter in for a fainting episode she had. He did look her over and seem to think she gets migraines. But....she also needed the vaccines for her tetanus and her meningitis. He also states two vax for her of the covid and the HPV. I told him hold off on those ..and just the men. And yet. Shots today. He asked me why no covid. I replied it's just my choice. He then let me know statistics of death rates from covid and advised getting it. I refused it again. He then told me

My very 1st experience at meadville medical center, even though they were under a lot of stress, and busy! They did there best to keep on their toes. And very compassionate, and tried to make me comfortable, while waiting. They had a long wait, and beds were at full capacity. They put me in a family room to be seen, bc all they beds was in use. Thanks for making me feel comfortable the time I was there. Means alot, even though this pandemic has yas overworked, yas did your best!!!

It amazed me that even in an intensive care staff was as sensitive to not only the patient but also the family. Professional, knowledgeable are just two adjectives to describe everyone we encountered at your facility. The physicians made sure they spoke to the family daily. You have kept the 'care' in Healthcare. Imagine a medical center where you are not a number!

Went to ER with broken back. I’m a nurse so I knew what was going on. They took my temperature and blood pressure then told me to have seat in waiting room. The girl taken before me was eating snacks and soda and playing games on her phone. After 2 1/2 hours I left to get help elsewhere as I was in pain. They billed my insurance company they had on file and I didn’t sign for that to be done. They said it was for triage. They don’t triage unless you have chest pain or go by ambulance you can plan on waiting. They moved their lab so it’s not in hospital and cheat the insurance and you with

I have always had 5 star experiences with MMC. (When I broke my leg in 2018, I was in and out in under an hour! And when I was having issues with mouth pain prior to extractions, I only had to spend 25 minutes there) However, today when my husband went there, they told him to get an appointment with his regular doctor because the wait time could be up to half the day. (My husband rarely goes to the er. When he does, it's serious. Just FYI, he's not going to do anything else. I hope he doesn't need to go there again.

I've had nothing but bad experiences from Meadville medical center. last spring my wife was in the emergency room three times and they ignored everything when in fact she had to be transferred to Hamot and have emergency surgery because of an infection in her spine. Last week I had an ultrasound of my carotid arteries and they said the one was completely blocked and I went to Hamot and that was not the case. they said they were going to send an act 112 letter but yet they defied the law and did not.

Arrived at the ED with my small child having severe neck pain due to several swollen lymph nodes. We were placed in the "Family Room" instead of a patient room. We sat in uncomfortable office chairs for nearly 5 hours instead of my child having the option to lay down in a hospital bed. When asked why we were placed in a waiting room, they stated the ED was all full and this was what we were left with. However, on our way to the Family Room, I noticed that there were at least 2 open patient rooms available at the time and when we were finally discharged, there were even more patient rooms
