Akane revived my hair with such care & skill! So appreciative. I went in there feeling down because my hair was looking so thin and straggly and was sure I’d need to chop half of it off. She worked on each section taking off just as much as needed to revive to health & give my hair shape again. Highly Recommend!

My experience with this salon keeps getting more interesting. After reaching out to them twice and not receiving a reply. I decided to post on yelp. They then reached out and offer for me to come back in for a complimentary service. I told them I was uncomfortable coming back to the salon and that I made an appointment at another salon to get my hair fixed. I asked for a refund and I have not heard back from them since. Please be aware of the salon!! My hair was so over-processed and it feels like straw!

I got a balayage and trim with Koko and I'm so pleased with the results. Koko was so sweet and easy to talk to. She took her time and was so gentle throughout the whole process. I was there for almost 4 hours but it felt like time flew by. I love my results and more importantly, I finally found a stylist who's patient and understands what I'm looking to do. Highly recommend!

I had a bad experience. I went in with beautiful long blonde hair, just wanted some highlights to frame my face to make it brighter. The final result was dark almost black hair with ORANGE/brown highlights in the back and front!!!
Plus VERY dry brittle hair. DO NOT COME HERE. I don't know if the stylist has gone to beauty school as it didn't seem like it but I trusted even though I kept questioning her.
All the years of highlighting my hair to a beautiful blonde disappeared and now I have to find a "correction" salon. None of this would have happened if Carlton Hair at Santa

I am always very nervous about going to a new salon for a haircut, due to too many bad experiences in the past and it's rare that I will go to a salon without a word of mouth recommendation so I took a chance this time, but Yudai was absolutely amazing. Exceeded my expectations. I brought in a photo of what I wanted and he cut it perfectly. Having very long hair, I often find stylists are too eager to cut off too much, but Yudai took off only exactly what I asked for and it looked perfect. Highly recommend Aube!! I desperately needed a hair cut (haven't had it cut since Oct 2019). I went in with a vague idea of what I wanted, but knowing I wanted to have it trimmed, some layers, and to thin it out a bit for summer. Yudai did an excellent job doing exactly that!

Awesome experience from the moment I booked my appointment until the finished look. Akane took her time and turned my long washed out brown hair to a gorgeous layered ash brown balayage. She was very meticulous and is an extremely talented hair stylist. Yes, 5 Stars. It was my first time to do my hair with Akane, and I recommend it. She has a quick and detailed technique which caught my attention. After I finished the whole procedure, cutting, root, partial highlight, blowdryer, my hair was exceptionally shiny. The lounge is spacious, with new and comfortable equipment. Hygiene 💯.

Akane is an amazing stylist! Cannot praise her enough! I was in town visiting from Vegas and have had no luck finding a stylist that understands my hair, wavy and fine... she looked at my hair, my face, and understood that I generally leave it natural. Wow! Her technique in cutting my hair and layering... just wow! My hair feels and looks thicker, and curls up perfectly! No chunky noticeable layers... so happy, finally! It had been 2 years since I had had my hair cut. Hands down the best service and skills at AUBE Hair Salon! My first time getting bayalage at this location and the results were on point!! I’ve never had anyone get the color exactly what I wanted, and took half the time I’ve ever experienced in the past. I’ve received nothing but compliments so far. THANK YOU!! Yuya at AUBE salon is a magician, a miracle maker. I m very nervous when it comes to colors and haircuts. My hair can be tricky to work with and I can be on the defense side at first with trusting someone for the first time with my curls. However yuya made me feel at ease right away. I've never had such a great experience at a salon. Just the most detail oriented, helpful, knowledgeable, and kind people! I wanted to get a Japanese straightening perm but after a walk-in consultation decided my hair was too damaged to take the perm without breaking. So I got my first Brazilian blowout instead and I'm OBSESSED with it. All my friends are gobsmacked and can't believe how much a cut and Brazilian blowout upgraded my look.

Yudai is a true master of his craft, with very careful attention to detail and perfect technique. I highly recommend Aube Hair for any service. I first met Yudai after discovering his salon, Coocan, in Manhattan Beach, where he instantly became my favorite hairstylist (ever!).
