I don't know what happened to my previous post. I made an appointment for a Saturday and was taken into the building to the waiting area. The attendant didn't tell the receptionist that I was there, so if I hadn't checked my home messages, I would've had to wait even longer than the extra hour and a half I had already waited. I trust that this was a one-time experience. As for the quality of the work, it was top notch and I would gladly recommend them. Also, if you need a Saturday appointment, book far in advance, because they fill up fast.

My wife and I arrive to pick up my truck, and my wife needs to use a restroom. I asked an employee where they were and he indicated that she should follow him. He brings her to the 2nd floor and shows her a restroom. He did not tell her that you needed a key to get back to where the business was located. He left her on her own. She tries to get back to the parking level where the business is located and finds locked doors. The area has a hotel and other businesses attached. We were able to schedule two separate vehicles and drop at off hours. They worked around our schedule and made it completely convenient for us. I am beyond critical, but both vehicles were detailed immaculately. Our two golden retrievers are constantly in our Volvo SUV, so it was beyond a challenge. I expected good, but nothing like the end result I received. It looked exceptional compared to the details we spent hundreds on at the dealership previously. I highly recommend not only because of the employees, but quality of service for the price.

These guys cover it all - and I am OCD so that's saying something. Everything cleaned, dressed, and buffed as expected. Not a spec of dust inside - did 3 of my vehicles same day. Don't hesitate to try them out. $200 for inside/out car ($225 SUV) gets you buff, dressed leather seats, all rubber and plastic surfaces, mats, carpet clean ... everything but the engine compartment. And for only $25 get a killer inside clean/outside wash.

I went there for the first time. Purchased an interior detailing for Honda Accord. I thought it's a good place because they took 2 hours for details. But then this happened. They did a good job but when I was putting my stuff back in the car from the trunk I found out they broke my mag-mount (Radar Mount) and they hide it from me. Yes, I'm mad because they hide it from me not mad because I have to buy a new mount that costs half of the detailing price. If you do something/happens something then let the people know don't hide it, please. Overall y'all did a good job.

Updated to Previous Review: I have changed my rating. Paul, the owner, reached out to me and apologized for the previous service I had received. He offered a complimentary exterior wash which I took him up on. They did a much better job on my vehicle and I was happy with the service. I will say, Detail Kings has GREAT customer service!
2 strikes! The first time I took my vehicle to Detail Kings I got the interior and exterior cleaning. I left feeling it was subpar. My windows were still filthy and they didn't even touch the inside of my trunk/3rd row seat area even though I had cleaned it out

Let the pictures speak for themselves!...I'm speechless. Amazing work that I didn't think was even possible. We have light interior and this has got to be the ultimate test...we have two kids and they basically took out old coffee stains, pee stains, soda pop and makeup, and also can you believe it period stains!...Do yourself a favor this place is as legit as they come when it comes to quality and bang for your buck! They did a fantastic job on my Mercedes. I have to admit I was nervous trusting my car to a business I have never used. I was also unsure if they could fit me in for a same day appointment. To my delight the manager told me they don't usually do appointments on the same day but she would accommodate me. They remembered me when I came in and were very friendly. My car looks amazing and smells so good. I had only the interior cleaned but it included an exterior wash and tires cleaned.

Did a unsatisfactory job, not a thorough interior detail. Part of the issue is they are in the basement of a parking garage and have no sun, even directly outside, so they do not have enough light. Areas of the dash were missed, dirt on arm rest was missed, dirt on carpet was not taken out, part of the detail (door handles / locks) were missed and a large area of dirt / dust in the opening of a door was missed. This is not a 'showroom' detail, it is an interior cleaning. Go somewhere else if you want a real interior detail.

My car has not been cleaned since I bought it 6 years ago. It was very dirty, I mean bad stains on the chairs, the cup holders were packed with gunk, the windows were so dusty and you couldn't really see out of them. This was totally worth the money. My car looks brand new and I'm so happy to have a fresh start. My only regret is I didn't take before pics to compare!! Detail kings did an awesome job.great customer service also!!

This service seems great, with sheets of paper outside of a lock box for costumers to conveniently drop there vehicle off and outline the services they'd like when they're on a break. Only problem is when the owner is on vacation and his employees decide not to show up to work for the day. The sheets were left out, all signs were left to show they were open and the lights to the shop were on, with zero indication that they were anything but open for business.

In reference to the Showroom detail, it was one of the most competitively priced detail packages I've ever encountered. Small paint correction goes a long way. Removal of fine scratches with polishes and light abrasives helped level out this 7 year old paint well. Tar removal and clay bar treatment helped remove small contaminants that we all know is a fact of life living in Chicago. I didn't expect all scratches to be removed, for the paint condition it was in, that's a well over $1.5k job. But for this price, this blew my expectations.
