Hwasook Lee is a licensed Doctor of Acupuncture. Originally from South Korea, Dr. Lee earned her Bachelor's degree at Catholic University of Daegu College of Pharmancy and began her career working as a pharmacist. For two years, Dr. Lee worked in a hospital pharmacy. She left this position to develop her personal community pharmacy, providing accessible and supportive treatment to individuals.
Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) is a healing system developed in China more than 2.000 years ago with a focus on achieving health and well-being through the cultivation of harmony. In contrast, Western medicine primarily focuses on treating illnesses and diseases. TCM practitioners use acupuncture, herbs, tuina (Chinese medical body massage), qi gong, tai chi and other methods to treat a wide range of conditions.
Acupuncture can be used to help decrease swelling, spasms, pain and inflammation. It helps to increase range of motion and promote healing. The focus is not only to treat the injuries but also to improve their stamina and endurance without any side effects. Many athletes get acupuncture treatment on a regular basis to achieve their goals.
It is enviromentally designed building using bamboo flooring, organic insulation, allergy reducing HVAC system, LED lighting and filtered water. Green cleaning products are used throughout the building. We provide complimentary WiFi, handicapped accessible and on-site parking, and complete private treatment rooms.
