Drain Doctor was founded in 1996 under the name Drain Doctor of Springfield, L.L.C. by Brent and Janet Hildreth.
In June of 2006 the company was sold to Fred & Tracey Stewart. The company was soon after incorporated and the name was changed to Drain Doctor of Southwest Missouri, Inc.
