Kelsey Periodontal Group
The Kelsey Periodontal Group strives to offer comprehensive, evidence-based periodontal therapy and dental implant placement in an environment where a patient knows he or she is respected as an individual. Our goal is to work in conjunction with your general dentist, physician, and the other dental specialists you may be seeing, in order to rehabilitate and maintain your oral health.
Services
A Periodontist is a dentist who specializes in the soft tissues of the mouth and the underlying bone which supports the teeth. A dentist must first graduate from an accredited dental school before undertaking an additional three years of study within a periodontology residency training program in order to qualify as a periodontist.
When you and your restorative dentist decide to save a tooth, but there is not enough tooth structure left to build a crown on top of it, crown lengthening is the solution. Crown lengthening is a simple surgical procedure where the gum tissue is pushed back around the tooth you want to save, then a very small amount of bone is removed to "lengthen" the crown.
Your dentist has recommended you receive a deep cleaning of your teeth. The dental term for this procedure is "scaling and root planing". Scaling and root planing (SRP) is indicated when the pockets around your teeth are deep, and calculus (tartar) and plaque have built up causing inflammation of your gums, and possibly bone loss.
If you are missing a tooth or teeth, or have extractions planned in the future, a dental implant may be the solution you are looking for to replace the missing tooth. Actually, "dental implant" is a catch-all phrase which actually refers to at least two separate dental processes.

What that phrase really encompasses, is the surgical placement of a titanium cylinder into the bone followed by a crown that is affixed to the titanium cylinder after a period of healing. So, in reality, what you are looking for is a dental implant with an implant supported crown.
A frenum is a tissue that functions to limit the movement of other tissues in your mouth. Sometimes the frenum can be near your upper teeth and may prevent the closure of your two front teeth with braces (Fig. A). Sometimes the frenum can be on your lower teeth and pull on the margin of the gums and be a part of the cause of gum recession (Fig. B).

I rarely do reviews, despite being a Marketer by profession, but this one was well earned. The professionalism and kindness of the staff was superb. The procedure I had done was so well executed by Dr. Patrick Kelsey that I didn't even need ibuprofen afterwards. He did call to check on me later and encouraged that I take some to be safe. I did but after that, it wasn't needed. The surgery was like artwork, well executed and with beautiful results. If only all procedures and experiences were done this well!

Love this practice! From the moment you walk into this office you are greeted at the front desk with a smile! Dr.Matt Kelsey is a Rock Star! He puts you ease and patiently explains everything that's going to take place. He does this again during the procedure so there are no surprises. From a warm and welcoming front desk to a friendly dental assistant to Dr Matt Kelsey this practice is first class. I highly recommend Kelsey Periodontal Group.

Hey if you want frontier dentistry and tooth pulling as a recommended treatment go to these guys. Dentist told me wisdom teeth were great but had an issue with a front tooth and recommended Kelsey.. This guy recommended pulling all my wisdom and front tooth. Needless to say I didn't take the recommendation and went to a better perio in Omaha with better technology and guess what? No teeth were pulled and I've had fantastic results.

Dr. Pat Kelsey and his staff showed the utmost care with professionalism and compassion. If you are afraid of pain, Dr. Kelsey does everything he can to minimize it. He also explains everything before he does it and as he is doing it. He personally called me the same day to see how I was doing following the procedure. I recommend him and his staff with 100% confidence.

Professional, high-quality care. I have nothing but respect and appreciation for what I have experienced in this office. They make every effort to minimize the down side of my necessary procedures there. Capable and caring staff. Recommend 100%. Have never done a review before, but this really deserves mention.

I don't often write reviews, but I've been to a number of dental professionals over the years as I have extreme dental anxiety, so I have simply avoided a procedure and went to a different dentist. Dr. Pat Kelsey and his staff are without a doubt the best there is. The other review of extremely professional yet laid back is a perfect description. Dr. Kelsey does a great job explaining procedures, your options and doesn't try to pressure you into procedures you may not need. He is completely honest! I have never had full trust in a dental professional, but I have full trust in Dr. Kelsey. Additionally

I rarely, if ever write reviews; however the experience I had at Kelsey Periodontal compelled me to do so.
My guess is, you're reading this because you have some dental health issues that you need fixed. If that is the case, you've found the right place. I recently had a couple areas with some bad gum recession, which Dr. Kelsey fixed up perfectly!
We've all read the horror stories on the internet, and I am the type of person who dreads any dental related appointments, and assumed the worst, as I think most people do... I was completely wrong. The environment that I was provided with was very
