Great spot if you're into RV park camping. Or rent the cabin; it's really nice and in a relatively secluded spot at the back of the campground but still not far to walk for the swimming hole and office. The artificial beach is great with a giant jungle gym floating in the water and a variety of floaty things to use. They offer day passes for swimming, too.

We are in our first year of seasonal camping and we chose Whiskey Creek because it is small and rural with a beautiful setting and owned by family’s that really care about their guests. It is a family oriented campground with lots of activities for all members of your family. There is swimming, canoeing, kayaking, fishing, crafts, campfires, yard games, Gaga ball, playground, and a camp store with great food and yummy treats. We are close to several small towns if you forget something you can’t live without. Also close to day excursions that are one of a kind. You can’t go wrong spending

Let me start by saying the man made lake was great white sand beach very cool. Outside of that this was the worst camping experience I’ve ever had and I don’t imagine any other will top it! The owners came up to our party screaming at 10:59 talking about put your fire out and go inside your camper or were calling the police!! Wow! We haven’t seen some of our fellow campers in years and we just wanted to have a few beers by a fire so if your looking to do that not the place for you. I’ve never experienced being talked to like that by another grown adult especially a business owner ! I’ll

Loved staying at Whiskey Creek!! Great new addition to the area geared towards families! Their name says it all, fishing kayaking and biking all at your finger tips! Awesome amenities with the swimming pond and inflatables, games and activities as well! Loved the family atmosphere when we were there and will definitely be coming back! The owners are very kind with a smile on their faces whenever you go into the camp store …. And I love the ice cream a bit too much!

We've spent fabulous weekends here this summer! Each time it's been a relaxing get-away with friendly neighbors. It's a nice, safe environment for the children with fun activities such as slime-making, movie night with popcorn, and a great swim pond/aqua park. The owners are wonderful and always take time to walk around and talk with us campers. The kayaking rentals made for a fun girls weekend! If you dont have time to set up your meals (or just don't want to), they have a yummy fish supper on Friday nights and meals you can order throughout the day. We will be spending many of our camping adventures

First off, the lake is beautiful and well taken care of. If you are looking to just go somewhere to swim, then this is the place for you. If you are camping and want that "camping" type atmosphere, I suggest you go elsewhere. It's basically a wide open parking lot with no privacy and your site is about as wide as a camper. That's it. The "regular seasonal" campers are basically like their watch dogs and watch you like a hawk. The owners/employees drive around and monitor you 24/7. Telling someone they are doing something wrong is okay. Or that they are in violation of a rule is totally acceptable

We went camping here for our first time with our 2 little girls and a newborn baby. This campground is a great place for kids! Not too big not too crowded and lots of activities for them to do. We did tye dye foam beach party, yard games and lots more. Big reason why I'm writing this review is when the last day came and it was time to leave our truck broke down and we were unable to pull our camper out. We were calling all of our family and friends to help then one of the owners came over and asked what was going on. So we told him and he was like I can pull your camper home for you with no hesitation
