I had around 1000 pounds of laptop cords, cat5 cables, vga cables, etc. They wanted to give me scrap iron price for it unless I cut off all the ends of every cord. So they wouldve given me about 80 for it. I went to Padnos instead. They gave me $450 for it, with no prep. So Id advise you to go there instead.

While they may require that you prepare your material in a specific manner, taking the time to do so gets you the better price--and it makes sense--if you don't prepare it properly, they have to pay their employees to do the prep instead, which means they can't pay you as much for it. If you have questions about how to prepare your material, call ahead--they will more than happily do their best to explain what is needed. I would highly
