Services
I work with Award 1 Engraving on a regular basis and have engravings done on acrylic and burl stands for our clients here at the gallery. The jobs are consistently done early and exactly the way we ask for. I am always happy with the results. Rusty communicates well and is a very reliable, responsible owner.
Since the 1980's laser beams have provided an alternative to the cutting blades of the rotary engraving systems, making it possible to cut and engrave a variety of materials by burning into or through them. There is still much that rotary engravers can do that is difficult or impossible for lasers to achieve, but laser engraving and cutting has really come into its own since that time.
Rotary and laser engraving and cutting as well as sublimation are each valuable tools for working with a wide range of materials to create images, words and objects. Each process has its strengths and can produce excellent results. However, using each process to create components that can be combined makes just about anything possible.
Marking differs from personalization in that the items being marked are rarely designed with marking in mind and instead of designating personal ownership, it is simply a method of identifying a specific item or part and is often industry related. For instance, it is essential to have medical tools and equipment marked with an ID number.
What is personalization? An employee name tag is personalization, as is a permanent luggage tag. How about the little sign with the bank teller's name visible at their station. I suppose all of these things could be achieved using a magic marker and a paper label, but what a difference it is to have something that looks professional and permanent.
