Sound Swarm is owned and operated by Rob Beck (DJ Swarm). Having grown up surrounded by music his entire life, Rob has a plethora of genres he can pull from during his sets. Similarly, he enjoys all types of music from around the globe. As a dedicated father and husband, music is a large part of family life.
From reworking a new track or teaching his son to play the drums, to just sitting down and playing guitar, the Beck household is filled with sound. He enjoys spending time with his wife (Alyssa) and sons (Aden and Mathis). Rob got his start playing in bands as a guitarist in his teens. He constantly strives to learn new instruments and engage new sounds.

Sound Swarm was a great choice for our wedding. The equipment was on par and the music was exactly what we wanted. Rob annoucing made the whole wedding flow so well. It went off without a hitch. I strongly believe we couldn't have pulled our wedding off if it wasn't for Rob I would definitely recommend them 100 times over. If you're looking for a DJ for your wedding look no further!

My wife and I hired Rob and Sound Swarm to DJ our wedding on the 1st and we were really impressed!
We accidentally changed the wrong song the week of but we didn’t catch it till the day of the wedding. Rob was more than accommodating and made the necessary changes. He helped keep things moving with our schedule. We were a little worried about people dancing but Rob got people out there. We were truly impressed with his work and would recommend him over and over again!

Robert did an amazing job at our wedding!! Our ceremony was outside and reception was inside, but he was prepared and everything ran smooth.
He was personable, thorough, and kept everything on time/schedule. His music selection was awesome and everyone had a blast! We would definitely recommend him to other couples!!

My husband and I got married in June of 2019. Rob Beck was the DJ at our reception and we could not have been more pleased. He put in a lot of effort to customize the music how we wanted it, offering great suggestions along the way. Very impressed by his flexibility when several plans changed he went with the flow. Great music, great quality, great reception, great personality, at a great price. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

Robert did an awesome job for our wedding. Not only is he one of the best out there, but he’s also pretty affordable. Robert even came to help out with our rehearsal and was really helpful with making things happen when they needed to happen. My wife and I booked Rob for our wedding, and he was absolutely stellar. In addition to being extremely affordable, Rob made everything go so smoothly throughout the day. Not only did he play some great songs, but he also really knew how to get people going and looked like he was having an absolute blast with everyone. He walked us through everything and made sure we were comfortable and confident at every step. He even accommodated our guests that were huge metal fans (myself included) by playing a song for us. He's definitely the guy you want to DJ your wedding, no question.

DJ Rob is fantastic to work with! My husband and I got married and used Rob's DJ service for our special day at our ceremony and reception following. We got so many compliments about our DJ that evening at the reception! Rob is extremely creative with his music. He mixes and mashes the different songs together to create something special. We informed him prior on his online portal about what genres we did and din't like and he did all the rest! He definitely kept the crowd happy at the reception and kept the party alive.

Rob was a pleasure to work with! He arrived on time to set up his equipment and was professional. He was also great with adjusting to my families crazy request for live performances at our wedding! Rob was a BLAST at our wedding. He had incredible music, a great energy, and really made everyone enjoy themselves on the dance floor. Myself and my wife left at the end of the wedding, and I found out later that he stuck around for an extra hour voluntarily to keep playing music for those who stayed to continue dancing or cleaning. Truly an awesome guy, and not just your usual cookie-cutter DJ. On top of all this, we had things come up unexpectedly that made things hard for us, and he worked with us on a price that fit our budget. I would recommend him for ANY event! Thanks again, Rob!
