I explained to Ken the situation and he came the next day to assess and took care of the problem quickly. "Ken responded right away when we called about a large cedar tree removal. Other services we called took a week or more to respond. The price was very competitive. We are very pleased with the job he did. Ken even earned applause from our neighbor for his highly accurate and well thought out removal strategy! Ken cleaned up the front yard right away. It looks great. We would highly recommend this tree service to all our friends and family

I found myself checking out the great work of Ken's Tree Service. I had about 15 trees limbed, 10 tall like the ones in the pic about 6-8 months ago. Since then, I've noticed the work of others. Ken's trees look very clean where the limbs are removed. He worked around power lines. He left limbs in piles as requested. Trees were limbed in stages so I could dispose of the limbs in between. He was very easy to work with. I must say I believe his pricing was more than fair and the quality of work was a bonus; I'm still so pleased with the look and safety of the finished work.

I needed some tree work and yard cleanup on my property.
I left a message for Ken on Friday. He called back the next day, Saturday and scheduled a meeting for the following Monday. Met with Ken on Monday. He said it would take 2 days and he could start next week.
Ken kept me informed the entire job. He always let me know when he would be on site and kept me informed of the cost as he went along.
Ken takes pride in his work and it shows. He took down a few oaks, cut into rounds for firewood and did fire prevention cleanup.
The yard looks great, thanks Ken

Ken was the first one we contacted and were impressed with his professionalism and friendliness. He explained completely how he would take the tree down and answered all our questions. Arrived on time and did a great job including cleanup. Would contact him again for tree service and recommend him highly.

I cannot speak to the quality of work that Ken's Tree Service does because I was unable to get a quote from them.
From what I read in the reviews, they do excellent work.
However, I checked out their website and it included a link to request an estimate.
I filled out the form which generated an auto-response from them saying that they had received it and would get back to me within 24 hours.
I never heard from them.
My guess is that they are probably so busy that they are not interested in any new business....

Each time he has come out and given us a fair bid, set a date and always shows up on time and gets the job done. His price is not the most expensive or cheapest, but his work for the price is a steal!! We have tried other workers in the past, only to be greatly disappointed, whether they cost more or less. I had an 80 foot plus pine fall over along side my home in an awkward spot to access. I called several tree guys for quotes and only two responded..Tim and "Ken's Tree Service". If you've lived here any period of time, you get used to tree guys/firewood guys being pretty unreliable.
Both Ken and Tim responded very quickly and provided me extremely reasonable quotes within pennies of each others bid. I did choose Tim as for a few extra dollars he also chipped the brush, but I would have been happy with either company.
