In 2002 James Academy was merely a dream. In 2004, it became a reality. We offer quality competitive and recreational gymnastics instruction to kids ages 2 and up. We provide a unique service to Terrebonne Parish and neighboring communities. We have assembled qualified coaches and staff with 50 years collective experience for every child regardless of ability, physical fitness, self-esteem or character.

Services
Since preschool children absorb so much from their surroundings, JAG has a specially designed preschool program that teaches basic body awareness and social interaction through exciting, self-esteem building gymnastics classes. The classes are held in the preschool area of the gym, with custom tailored equipment "scaled down" to their size.
JAG is a member of USA gymnastics and specializes in training gymnasts for the Junior Olympic program, from level one through elite. Central to our approach to competitive gymnastics training is that belief that it is the journey, not the destination or the result of any competition or contest that is most important.
James Academy of Gymnastics is excited to offer area schools and day camps the opportunity to experience gymnastics in our safe, fun and healthy environment. Students of all ages will tour our state of the art facility and have an opportunity to experience hands on our Olympic level equipment, and quality certified instructors.
